As a social worker, I highly recommend staying clear of this place. I witnessed 3 staff sitting in a bus blocking a road at 3:15pm putting bus further from doorway of senior day care, not only putting themselves in a dangerous situation but also putting some people’s loved ones in a dangerous situation. 3 staff came to my car treating me with my 5 year old in the car. The police told me to leave the scene and they would meet me at my home as they witnessed this while I was on the phone calling it in. They said they would not move the bus up and I can fit around them. That unfortunately was not the case. There were zero residents coming out of the building or furthermore on this bus. Meanwhile the staff called it in as a hit and run and residents were loading the bus. If that was the case I would have waited. Instead they were goofing around and giving the finger to drivers asking them to move from blocking active roadway. I wouldn’t trust any human being being cared for by these people.

Absolutely wonderful , best place ever. My son lived there after a stroke for about 3 yrs till he had another stroke n they couldn't care for him. Everything went downhill after that ,the beginning of the end . Oyster Bay Manor the best, you can sleep at night when loved one there.
Although I am in the very early stages of things, Oyster Bay Manor has provided a warm, comfortable, and helpful environment as I try to navigate what happens next. In addition to the property and facilities being designed with thoughtful intention, things are clean and well-maintained. More impressive is how thoughtful, supportive, and accommodating the team of employees seems to be. The director is lovely and kind, and it seems that her warmth has provided an environment that allows everyone to feel comfortable and happy which, of course, impacts the care of the residents.
I am writing this review as a current resident at Oyster Bay Manor. I knew during the past several years that I would need assistance in the coming years due to progressive health issues. It was not an easy decision to relinquish my independence, but I wanted to choose where I would go myself rather have the decision made for me. I did extensive research. My first contact was virtual due to COVID , and I did virtual tours of many places. When talking to the staff at Oyster Bay Manor, I felt an immediate connection, and my instincts told me, “This is the place.” The room was spacious and attractive. The cost was reasonable. However the willingness of the personnel to make me feel comfortable both physically as well as emotionally was exceptional. I am happy with my decision. I highly recommend Oyster Bay Manor on ever level. Now, it’s home.
The Oyster Bay Campus is a fabulous place to live for your older adult live one. It is a loving, homey atmosphere for any senior to flourish . I would highly recommend both the assisted living and memory care. They are extremely attentive and intentional when it comes to the care and comfort of a loved one. Also, and very important, the chef is amazing and I love the food!!!
