My wife's sister moved into Overland Park Place in February. The wonderful staff made the process so easy. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The many and varied activities kept my sister-in-law happy and busy all day. More recently, we are reassured that my sister-in-law, along with the other residents, are being kept safe and all guidelines and precautions are followed. We are so happy we chose Overland Park Place.
I love living in Overland Park Place. Sherri, the kitchen manager does the most beautiful decorations, like “Alice in Wonderland. She makes us feel like family. Everyone does. I am lucky to live here. Thank you for all y’all do.
Overland Park Place is an excellent choice for senior citizens who don't want the responsibility of a home, but are looking for an active, independent lifestyle. Many of the staff have been at OPP for years and are very friendly and kind and try to accommodate the needs of each individual resident. They recently remodeled all of the common areas and hallways giving the facility a fresh, updated look. A variety of social, educational and religious activities are offered and small pets are welcome. When the weather is nice, residents can often be see out on the back patio visiting or just enjoying the outdoors.
Overland Park Place.......what a WONDERFUL community! Every time I visit the staff and residents are so kind and welcoming. It seems like they are always have some sort of entertainment or doing an activity when I'm there. If you're trying to stay active and engaged and INDEPENDENT, then they are definitely the community for you!
