The experience we had at this place still upsets me today. My grandma was placed here for rehab a couple months back and was diagnosed with dementia shortly before arriving. She is considered a brutal diabetic and had really high sugar levels one day. I checked her monitor and asked the nurse if they can order some insulin because dinner wasn’t going to be for another 3 hours and her counts were only going up and we’re already dangerously high. They didn’t come back for another 45 minutes so I asked again and the nurse flipped out on me. Questioning why I was the one checking her (concerned granddaughter changing her sensor), told me they weren’t going to give her anything, continued raising her voice at me making me cry telling me I was wrong and making smart remarks. Even seeing how physically upset I was she didn’t let up and kept coming at me. She finally agreed to get in contact with a doctor for an insulin order but then never came back and she didn’t get anything until dinner and never showed her face again. My grandma is my everything and we only wanted the best care for her. And this place is most definitely not it or for any person you love if they employ people who treat their patients and families like this. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only bad experience we had in only a couple week span. My grandma had an “accident” and I let a nurse know as I was leaving and she let out a huge sigh with an eye roll and said “well I guess I have to give her a bath anyways”. My heart broke. My 82 year old grandma, the most amazing person getting the worst treatment from a place that’s supposed to keep her safe and make her feel comfortable. She has since passed away and I feel compelled to leave a review for a place that I feel strongly should take a look at their employees and do better for our elder/sick community.

My grandma goes here and you couldn’t find a better living facility for your loved ones. The activities and facilities are wonderful and I’d highly recommend
I have nothing but good things to say about Otterbein in Maineville. The aides, the nurses were absolutely wonderful during my stay. They helped me with physical and occupational therapy, they were very attenditive, to me. They were very sweet and very kind. They treated me like family. And they cook their own food, and they food was delicious. If I was a patient again, I would definitely go back to Otterbein in Maineville.
My mother was a rehab patient at Otterbein Maineville. I couldn't have asked for a better place for her to get better. The facility is clean and beautiful with a very calming effect. The staff not only took great care of her but me as well. They took us in as if we were family and made us very comfortable. The food was home made and amazing! My mother was very happy and I am forever grateful. Thank you to the entire staff in house 150 at Maineville!
Just wanted to say how grateful I am to all of the wonderful folks at Otterbein Maineville for the care of my mother. The hospital had recommended a few places and Tiffany contacted me right away with her contact information and more about the Otterbein Neighborhood. Everyone there was very caring and nurturing towards my mother and it was genuine, and it reminded me that there are good people in this world. Melissa, Donna, Stephanie, Brandy and many others were straight up with me about my mother's care and I appreciate that. Most of all they took the time to talk to me. In this "no time to talk" world we find ourselves in sometimes, it was refreshing to have these beautiful ladies just talk to me and my mother and treat us with dignity and respect. And this place has a friendly neighborhood feel, not the coldness of an institution. Grateful to you all.
