The activity department is absolutely the best in Jackson County! The director and her assistants are always coming up with new and exciting activities for their residents. Your loved one would never be bored if they lived at the Orchards. They make sure that all the residents that choose to be involved and active have some to do all day.

I have been volunteering in the Activities Department every other Friday for about two years. I play games with the residents, talk, and most importantly, listen to whatever they have to say. I share stories with them, and they seem to welcome that interaction by laughing and sharing their own stories with me. Kimberly and her staff - Shastina and Kay, are also ready to listen, and help with anything a resident needs. These three ladies go above and beyond their job descriptions! There’s always something new going on - a dance, a new game, lots of things to keep their minds and bodies active!

They are a great staff and have many events that involve the residents. My mother has been there for six months and has no intention of going anywhere else until she comes home. The staff all are friendly and allow visitors at all hours. They are pet friendly and should be regarded as one of the best assisted living communities in the entire of southern Oregon.
Staff is rude and extremely unprofessional, they make fun of residents with each other and other residents sometimes. My loved one stayed there for a month and begged and pleaded to leave cuz her call lights wouldn’t get answered or they would walk in turn it off and say they’d be back but never did till she called again. I would not recommend you placing someone you love in this facility.
