I was horrified by some of the latest reviews. Not true. This was my Moms last home. 5 Stars Staff always Lovely to her. Housekeeping made Moms place so clean and always made her bed each week with fresh sheets. Chef Chloe always delivered amazing dinners-LOTS Too, My Mom actually got healthier being at Orchard Crest and gained weight. Great Activities always. We always appreciated Jacki's attention to detail and take care attitude and made the move from her home to OC with less tears. However, Cancer took Mom, but since then I come to OC frequently to look after Clients and I reccommend to all my Medicare Clients almost... sometimes on a weekly basis to please go see Jacki and Orchard Crest! It's an awesome place to call home and the residents are EXCEPTIONAL!

My parents lived at Orchard Crest for about 2.5 years. While the furnishings are dated, the staff is wonderful and caring. They help build community for and with the residents. The transfer from independent living to assisted living was seamless and my father was able to remain in his independent living unit until he passed. The med team was amazing, compassionate and took the time to learn about my parents. I highly recommend Orchard Crest Independent and Assisted Living Community.
I recently returned to Spokane and have spent time at Orchard Crest Retirement visiting my Grandma. A weight was lifted off my chest when I saw all the staff interacting with my Grandma and other residents. The employees at Orchard Crest Retirement are wonderful people. Brianna (Bri) was especially sweet when interacting with my Grandma Bertie. It filled my heart with peace and joy. You guys deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! Thank you!!!!
This place is amazing! There was such peace of mind knowing he was well cared for in every aspect of his daily life. For my dad's last days, he lived in this beautiful resort. What impressed me most was the fact that the staff knew everyone's name and treated residents with such respect and dignity. He was mad we moved him at first but after a couple weeks he was so happy. He loved the food and the assistance to get to the dining room. He had dementia and was confused about the route. Each meal a caregiver would show up and tell him to get on his "hot rod" which was a scooter. The humor made him smile. They would walk beside him to the dining room and then lead him back. He loved the food and the large variety he could choose. We felt very blessed that an opening became available when he became unsafe it his home.
They are not as good as they use to be. The food they feed them in assisted living I would not feed my dog. They are way overpriced. The extra care pay for you don't receive. Every year they raise prices and they are higher than Social Security gives them. Medication is not administered properly. Found a narcotic pill on floor by my mom's bedside. Emergency cord is pulled takes a long time for response if they come. Depending upon what side you are on and what day. Weekends are the worst days. Limited help. Don't be fooled by the smiling and welcoming faces.
