My father, who is currently 97 1/2, moved in here about 16 months ago. He’s in Assisted Living. I can’t speak highly enough of the kind and professional people at O’Neill. My Dad always comments on how well cared for he is and how everyone knows him by name. Not only are the nurses top notch (both friendly and professional al) but so are the activities and social staff as well as the aids and the orderlies. EVERYONE here is marvelous, it is clear they care for their residents. I am sure that being here not only prolonged his life, it improved his quality of life. I highly recommend this place, 10/10.

Words do not justice how wonderful this facility is. My dad was in their memory care unit. He received the best care before he passed. He was nurtured, given grace, patience, and respect. Every person working in this unit amazed me each and every day we visited. They always welcomed us with a smile and would tell us how he was doing. I just can’t say enough great things about O’Neill North Ridgeville. Our family will forever be grateful to them.
If I was giving a review for the rehab area, I would give 4 stars. They were wonderful in caring for my dad. Belinda, Mark & the director of nursing for rehab were wonderful as well as the majority of his aides, and his PT, Scott was so good with my dad. However, when my dad got moved to Long Term care in a room at the furthest point of the building, (supposedly was the only room available) because he wasn't progressing fast enough & insurance would no longer pay, we were very disappointed. You could definitely tell the difference in care once my dad was moved from rehab to long term care. Most of his nurses and aides were very nice & kind but we felt like he was mostly forgotten about unless we ask them to help with his needs. His room was not very clean at all. I would wash off all the sticky spills from his food tray myself, the carpet in that room was filthy and badly needed a cleaning. He was left in the same clothes for 3 days (day & night) until I ask that he be changed. His sheets would have bloodstains on them when they cleaned his wound and were left on his bed for several days. The curtains were hanging off the hooks on the one side and never fixed. Long term care there isn't the best..... I'm sure they are shorthanded like everywhere else & those working may be over worked, but care needs to be better, regardless.
My mother stayed at ONeil Healthcare North Ridgeville facility after her hospital stay in January for rehabilitation. She was there for about 10 days and my family and I can’t express enough how thankful we are for the treatment she received while staying there. The team there made sure she felt comfortable and safe during a very difficult time. We were very impressed with the way she was motivated by the staff. My mother was pleased with the food, nurses and entire team.
This is a great place for your family & loved ones! My boyfriends grandma was in here for a few weeks and she had great care and is still getting care from physical therapy at her home now. The staff is also great and compassionate. If you are looking for employment where the job is good and also has friendly co workers this would be the place!
