7999 N Crescent Blvd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110, United States
The place here at oasis is an affordable and amazing community for the cost you spend here. All of the staff here truly care about the residents and always put them first. Most senior community’s charge $7,000 to $10,000 a month to live “luxury”. At oasis we offer the most affordable and realistic senior community. We also try to make our residents as comfortable and happy as they can with daily activities that are actually fun and always encourage them to create a routine for themselves. Just recently for Christmas we were able to give every SINGLE RESIDENT a stocking for Christmas. We always have multiple parties a month and the residents absolutely love the DJ. Another amazing event we had is we brought in a magician to perform magic for our residents. I want to say thank you to amazing management team we have and the staff. This place is more than a facility, WE ARE A FAMILY.❤️

IF I COULD RATE THIS A “0”, I WOULD. WARNING! Please read before considering! This place is a disgrace to the aging population in NJ. The Manager (Lily) is extremely unprofessional with no empathy or regard for the lives of clients or their families. Harmful practices. 1) I scheduled a tour with her after she was in touch with another family member to start the process. On the day of the scheduled tour, she decided to leave early for the day after telling me she forgot it was the day before a holiday. She then left me a voicemail stating someone else would be available to give the tour (I will not disclose of that person’s name as I have an inkling that this wasn’t even communicated). I showed up on time and Lily was gone. And, the person she said would give me a tour was gone for the day as well after the front desk personnel called about 6 different numbers to find said covering tour guide as I stood there waiting. No tour was given. I traveled there for nothing. 2) Lily stated she would give our family 30 days to sort things out. Fortunately, we secured a different facility and called to update Oasis. Before we could give Lily the update, Lily reported that they "meant to call" to tell us that they have already given the room/available slot to another client about 1 week before our agreed upon move in date. We expressed our disappointment in the process as we were in contact with Oasis (both Lily and Ann, Admissions Director) on multiple occasions. Lily stated "there's no reason to keep talking about, we have no room. What do you want me to do? I have another call.". FAMILIES DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! Oasis is not to be trusted. Great potential for neglect and loved ones to be out of care/placement with the poor management that is currently in place. Fortunately, my loved one did not end up homeless after giving current landlord a move out date by relying on the promises set forth by Oasis. They completely dropped the ball and did not care.
It’s really disappointing and disgusting for a facility who claims to have a “passion for caring for elders” to treat potential clients as if they’re nothing. Lily or Lillian or Jillian (the name keeps changing) did not show respect to my family member who tried to get our dear family member care here. What are the certification or licensing requirements for an elder care facility? Guess I’ll make some calls to the Office of the Public Guardian and the Better Business Bureau for them to investigate.
I had the wonderful opportunity to experience first hand the dedication and love Ashley (Director of Nursing) has for the residents at Oasis. It’s rare to find her level of care and actual love she has for each resident. I’m an Administrator at a local nursing home (Aristacare at Cherry Hill) and Ashley came to visit and drop things off for her residents while they were at our facility for rehab post surgery. I know that Oasis is under new ownership and with the changes made over the last 2 years Oasis had turned a corner and is really excellent, and run by exceptional people.
This community serves one of the best populations of senior in Camden county. If affordability and great care is your prime reason to move your loved one out and make sure they are well cared for, this is the place to come. I put my family member here and she loves it. Great staff, fun activities and who doesn’t like to be close to everything.
