As dedicated employees, we take immense pride in the care and compassion we provide to our residents. Our team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure their well-being. For some residents who no longer have family, we become their family — offering not just care, but companionship, dignity, and respect. While our facility may at times be judged by appearances, the true measure of our work lies in the quality of care we deliver. We ask that others refrain from forming opinions until they’ve had the opportunity to understand the depth of our commitment. In many cases, we are all our residents have, and we strive every day to give them the attention and support they deserve — regardless of outside perceptions.

With the challenges this building faces it takes a lot to be able to stand and withhold. The residents are physically and mentally challenged as you can see. Witnessing what some of the staff have to put up with is tough. I understand that that’s the residents home but they also hold a responsibility of the upkeep of their lives as well. Some of the residents are pure hateful and it shows. I often visit the community and yes from observation if the staff had more support the community can be much better. Overall oasis may not have the appearance of a beautiful place. It’s the effort that counts. The staff face many challenges in the community. I’ve witnessed staff completely going out of their way to try to satisfy the residents and it goes unnoticed. It takes an army to fight battles and conquer. Yes the residents have their bill of rights but they to have to work together to keep the community positive. Some residenys may not like the staff personally but I haven’t seen the staff give up on them yet. The cleanliness has to be something the residents engage in as well it’s assisted living not total care. Everyone has an opinion and the best opinion is if your not happy with where your at in life only you can change that.
I must have been in a nightmare for 6 weeks and then thank goodness awaken. I cannot believe all the positive reviews of Oasis. However if you notice ther hasn't been a positive review in 5 years. Oasis is the most disgustingly run ALF I have ever experienced and I've been in 3 others. So many of the male residents are mentally and emotionally challenged and verbal confrontations break out all the time in the dining hall. I've had an Alzheimer's woman who does not speak english walk into my room constantly in the middle of the night. I've had to call. 911to remove her. At 8AM the building must be 30 degrees 7 days a wek. Enough said as I could go on forever. I would rate Oasis a - minus1000 if I could.
The search for a home for your parent is not an easy decision, after several months I thought I had found a suitable place for mom, I was wrong, I was given a list of facilities to choose from that met our criteria, lost in another list of places, you currently can't visit, then I met Ricki & Jill with Colonial ALF at Boynton Beach. It was a Friday that mom was relocating to Colonial at Boynton, Jill was so determined to make sure the move was made after the preparations we had completed, that she drove to the facility and waited with me until 6:30pm and when they still made me wait for her medications Jill took mom in her car to Colonial. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by EVERYONE I met, they were all professionally dressed, and very friendly, helpful and courteous, I was already pretty relieved at what I saw but after I spoke to Mom she couldn't stop talking about how nice everyone there is to her, she enjoys the food and atmosphere so much more than the other place she was at. I can't thank Claudia and Jill enough for their help in making sure the paperwork was processed quickly and correctly. Thank you Colonial at Boynton, you made this much easier than I expected.
Excellent facility. I have had the pleasure to meet the staff who have all been very pleasant and helpful. When I call the facility, the receptionist is friendly and professional. When you walk into the building, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The residents are all engaged in the various activities that seem to take place on a daily basis. The nursing staff is dedicated and caring and strive to do what is best to provide the maximum quality of care for each resident.
