I waited 2 hours to get linen and diapers! this a trash place to work, unprofessional, they sent me home because they told me to remove something out of my hair which was a clip to hold my hair from being in the way. this place is a -O don not pick up here!!! Bad communication, no supplies no nothing!!!! NOBODY WAS ON TIME NOT EVEN SUPERVISORS!! if they had an issue with my hair they should've been there when my shift started to say that but they wait 4 hours into my shift to say that!! they told me to use pillow case to wash patients because it's no linen!! horrible place to work!! i’m calling the state on this facility.

Very understaffed; there’s 130 patients here. Some staff are rude and sometimes ones at the desk don’t acknowledge that you are there but some are nice and do acknowledge you! The one staff guy would bring my relative their medication on time but the other staff make them wait longer. The place is clean tho. They have nice rooms, bathrooms, waiting area, and outdoor yard for the patients to get fresh air. They do activities like watch tv, give you books you want, coloring books, little bracelets to put together, they did taco night where you make food, there’s a calendar full of activities but because of Covid, some are limited. Grace the head staff is very attentive, clean, respectful and answers any questions we had. I understand they do the best they can too… I just wish there were more staff and some staff that sit at the desk when you walk in the door were more friendly and welcoming. It’s a good place altogether.
Please do not put your loved ones in this horrible place. My mom went for rehab, when she got there her bed was broken, they said they would TRY to get it fixed. she needed rails for the bed to help support her arm they said they would see if they could get some. Instead of rails they put a chair next to her bed. My dad told them her wanted her out of there within 15 minutes of her getting there. The social worker came in and said she would call the place he wanted her transferred to and start the process, but nope she didn't she left. The next day I called and spoke to the head social worker who was the rudest and most disrespectful person he LIED and said he sent all her paper work over to the other place and he said he had called them and left messages. I called the place myself to make sure they had gotten everything they needed, they did not because he didn't send them or call them. Thankfully the other place was able to get what they needed another way. Wheel chair transport showed up to get her out of there they wouldn't let her go because they didn't know if she could handle it even though both my parents said she could. The next day they came in and told her the other place called and said they no longer had a room for her which was a lie. I went over there to ask they had no idea what I was talking about. After 3 days of trying to get my mom out of this HELL hole we were able to get a stretcher transport to pick her up. OAKWOOD was of no help with trying to get her transferred they tried to keep her there.. PLEASE don't put your loved ones there.
This place is dirty hallways smell, care is not good, most gna are inexperienced? This place is all about the employees instead of residents. The food is so bad sometimes you can't define what it is. Yes my brother is stuck here until I find another place with availability for long term care. They really make it seem great, but trust me my brother has developed a cough with his lungs filled with mucus has been to hospital recently was supposed to follow up with pulmonary still waiting. I have a lot of picture's to back my statements up. I'm there bout everyday taking food and drinks and getting his laundry because they also steal. They sure can polish things up so you'd never think this place is so bad, If you bring something to anyone's attention they are down right nasty and pass the word to other employees. And so it goes on and on. To be disrespect ed by them, .
Short Staffed on Nurse Aids (CNAs). I spoke to The Administrator; Justin, about my Mom, in Room 112. Mom fell at home and broke her right femur (leg). She was given Excellent Physical Therapy and I Give Special Thanks to Justin for attending to Mom's needs for 24/7 care, since she has Alzheimers Disease (short term memory loss). I'd Also like to give Special Thanks to Brittany, RN & Tiffany, CNA & John, CNA., Along with other nursing staff on her unit, who took the time & effort to care for my Mom!. The facility is Very Clean, as well..!!!
