I had the opportunity to tour the building during the holidays. Surprisingly, all of the management staff was present and accounted for. They greeted me with a warm welcome. The facility was clean, staff was pleasant and residents were well groomed. I also had a chance to see and enjoy the dinner that was served. Nice to know there is a safe place for our elderly to live out their golden years.

I have not yet visited in person, but spoke to a staff member Teresa. She was easy to talk to, answered my questions and was the first to call me back regarding their facility. So far, I like what I hear and saw on the virtual tour. I plan to visit "in person" before making any definitive plans for my mother, but so far so good. I want the best for my mother.
My mother in law lives here. She loves it! All of the staff are so kind to her. They have wonderful outings and activities planned for the residents. There are guests that come in at various times for fellowship and music services. She is well cared for and everyone knows her by name. The Oaks at Savannah is a wonderful place to live.
Horrible experience. They do not take care of the residents. Full or roaches. My father was there only 1 year and I ran. They caused him to be admitted with dehydration and malnourishment to the point he had to go to the hospital and the hospital reported them to adult protective services. Had a person that went to work there keep an eye on him constantly found him on the floor in the morning. Caused a would to his elbow which made him septic and almost died. Has had 2 surgeries to repair the elbow. A true life horror story. I snuck his stuff out and ran. And they have the nerve to bill me. Lol. For what almost killing my father!!!!!!!!!
Filed a formal grievance with their corporate office and never received a response. They do not support residents rights.
