Oakmont Northville is a beautiful and better yet, affordable senior living community. The apartments are spacious and private. The community feels comfortable and is always exceptionally clean! Comparatively to other independent senior communities, the activity calendar is filled with events and outings geared to the interests and abilities of the residents. I love the mixology happy hour! The crafts created are on a “ purchased at Michael’s or Joanne’s” level - just beautiful and fun to do. I also love that they bring in a variety of entertainers and have music playing in the lobby all day! The menu is filled with delicious food that is not the same repetitive items, but does include traditional favorites and comfort dishes. Housekeepers are friendly and do a thorough job. I like that they empty trash everyday and make beds every morning, tasks that can be difficult for seniors. The staff are very warm and loving and don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. The maintenance man is quick to respond to work needing done. They have a receptionist stationed in the building 24/7 to give assistance at all hours of day and night, which is very reassuring.
Oakmont Northville is a wonderful community that offers many activities including an annual family fun day. Residents invite their families to enjoy fun games, great food, and petting farm animals! My kids loved the chickens! This is just one of the fun events Oakmont Northville plans for their residents and families to enjoy! It's a beautiful and clean community with staff that love the residents!
We moved my mom into Oakmont nearly a week ago and the place is very nice. She has a nice room. She has enjoyed the meals here. It is a friendly environment with all the amenities that she needs, such as the salon, church, physical therapy room, etc.. so far, we are very pleased with the services.
The Oakmont Northville staff really cares about their residents and treat them like family. They make sure that all their needs are met. Meals are provided 3 times a day and there are laundry and cleaning services onsite. Private duty services are available 24/7. There are many fun activities offered for the residents and also many fun field trips out in the community. The therapy provider onsite is top notch. Therapists have the flexibility to treat the residents in their apartment or in the clinic space provided right inside the facility. I highly recommend this independent living community.
