I went to visit the site with a friend. The tour by Jessica Stillwell was warm, loving, professional, informative, impressive and totally delightful! I would give it 10 stars! Scrupously clean, beautful room selections, engaging, tons of activies, safety forward, opportunities to enjoy nature, and more. I've driven by it so many times and had no idea how phenomenal it is. Recommending to a number of my friends!

My mother moved to Oakmont Livonia 2-1/2 years ago. It is a wonderful place, always clean and beautifully decorated. We have been pleased from the moment we signed up. The staff is always responsive to my mothers needs. The Activities Director is amazing. She tailors the events to get everyone involved and is super friendly. It is obvious that she knows all her residents. The people at the desk are there for you from a hello to an emergency. It is so comforting to know the door is always staffed, we feel she is safe at Oakmont. My Mom has made friends with other residents and the staff treats her like a friend. She LOVES the meals and the kitchen staff and enjoys the people that she comes in contact with each day that work at Oakmont. In fact, she tells me every time I talk to her how much she loves her home. Anything we ask about is addressed immediately. I think it is amazing that in the amount of time she has lived there we have not had one single issue.
I moved my mom to Oakmont in Livonia 2 months ago. I am so pleased with everything about this place. The first thing you notice is how clean and updated it is. I had dinner the first night she stayed and breakfast the next morning. The food is great and the presentation of the meals and the dining room adds to the experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The people that live there are so welcoming! I always say hello and goodbye and they all respond with a smile. I made a request to have a grab bar added to the shower and it was done in a matter of a couple of days. I cannot imagine a nicer place for my mom to live. I highly recommend Oakmont to anyone looking for a place for their loved one!
We had a nice visit. The place seems very lively and comfortable. Some seniors were sitting at the fireplace some were watching TV. Our relative's room was spacious with a lovely view.
My mother moved here over 3 years ago after a massive stroke. The staff was great in working with her to get her back to her old self. She has one of the smaller apartments yet it's big enough when the whole family visits. The grounds are very pretty to walk around and she loves to take a book outside to read. The staff is wonderful and are like a second family to her.
