I worked at Oaklawn about 15 years ago, I left and did other nursing ventures, could not ever figure out what I was missing with those jobs, until I came back to Oaklawn. I am so happy to be back taking care of these amazing individuals. our staff works hard, and everyone is so caring, and committed.

Oaklawn is such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff continue to go out of their way to support their residents in every way possible. The team works hard and continues to communicate open and honest!
I had the joy of visiting Oaklawn and it truly is one the best facilities I have been to. The staff is excellent - you can tell that they care about their Residents and go above and beyond to meet their needs and make them feel at home. The kitchen staff works to accommodate to people's likes/dislikes and any special food requests. The facility is fresh and clean. I highly recommend!
I refuse to even refer to the nurses at Oaklawn as actual nurses. They are understaffed and more invested in their own personal lives than the lives and well-being of their residents. Horrible response rate! They will rarely respond to nurse calls within the first 5 minutes. They leave all of the patients (in the rehabilitation wing) in darkness after 7 p.m. That is no way to make an individual who is still very much awake and active feel at home. I would never have guessed that their vision is quality care and homely living after witnessing this.
Oaklawn is such a beautiful facility. The staff are very compassionate and do their best to make each day a little better for the residents. Staff are always smiling!
