We moved in just last week. The manager, Tina, was exceptional. She helped at every step of the application process and was unfailingly cheerful and professional. The place is lovely - they try to anticipate needs and work to build a community among the residents. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new home.
Location is perfect for me. Building is always maintained, residents are friendly and helpful. Mostly, we are Fortunate to have a Great maintenance team. Mostly, we have the best resident Manager, Tina. She is always ready to handle any issues we have. I highly recommend Oakridge for your new home.
I signed my lease sight unseen, even before the building had been opened for occupancy, I have never been this happy! I moved from a, once beautiful, senior apartment bldg. that flooded and was eventually shut down by the building inspector. It became even more hellish when the NY city owners refused to make required repairs (no mechanicals, no elevators, no ac, fire alarms out of order, mold everywhere,) all repairs had to be approved by the NYC owners... but they did manage to raise the rent, with nasty people managing it and living in it. Oak Ridge has beautiful, pleasant people, management couldn't be better. Have a problem? Call the manager who is on it right away. Not only do they do their job, residents are even welcome to drop in for a quick chat. Trouble makers and rule breakers are dealt with appropriately. The apartments are gorgeous with the best amenities, and I love my neighbors. The building is quiet and beautifully maintained, (I can't even hear my neighbors through the walls or in the hallways). My neighbors are friendly, mind their own business, and we co-exist in ways I never thought possible. Oak Ridge is WONDERFUL, and I hope to never move again.
Tina, the property manager, is a wealth of information. I called trying to find a good setup for a loved one. Even though Middleton wasn’t the best location for us in the end, Tina was the one who provided us with the knowledge we needed regarding senior housing. She helped us realize it can be attainable! Very grateful. Would definitely trust a loved one living in Tina’s building.
