I frequently visit a friend who lives here. Her apartment is spacious, more big than those I've seen in other assisted living communities. The common area are always clean. The staff is very friendly, they greet me by name (as a visitor!) One time the maintenance man put up the windshield wipers on all the cars in parking lot during to impending snow, including mine! Have you ever been to a rehab or other facility and it smells antiseptic? Never at Oak Park Place! Lastly, when Jennifer is baking in the kitchen, my mouth waters as I'm leaving! Everyone loves her desserts!!!

I am a new volunteer at Oak Park Place and I have had a wonderful time getting to know the residents so far. Laurie Fischer has been incredibly helpful in getting me accustomed to the facility and the residents, and has made the onboarding process very smooth and welcoming. The facility and staff are clean, nice, and safe. Oak Park Place provides so much to their residents both is the assisted-living and memory care areas, and I am very excited to continue to volunteer for them and build relationships with residents and staff.

My name is Mary Sorensen, and I am an Oak Park Place Resident and a retired Associate Dean from MATC. Our lifestyle here at OPP is full of many experiences which enrich our minds, bodies, and spirits. We have daily opportunities to invest in our own health and happiness. Current research shows that adults who continue to pursue exercising their minds throughout their lives are healthier, happier, and more energetic than average. I try to help out in this area by encouraging Residents to continue to focus on their minds and brains by attending my monthly Seminars on how we Seniors can "Strengthen Our Brains and Keep Them Sharp." OPP is proud of the many activities our Residents can choose to be involved in. The food here at OPP is wonderful. They "change up" the menus often and feed us very well at each meal with many different, delightful choices. The Directors at OPP attempt to meet our various needs, every step of the way! I highly recommend this Senior Community!
I am an entertainer of over 50 years and have been doing Senior facilities for over 20. Oak Park Place, Wauwatosa is one of my favorite venues and the staff, people, residents and corporate groups are always prompt, courteous, professional and working with the best interests of their residents in mind.
