I was a rehab patient at Oak Knoll, following a hospitalization. This excellent facility earns five stars! The nursing and CNA staff was 100% respectful and friendly, the amazing Physical Therapy team worked with me daily to regain strength and abilities to return home ready and functional. The building is kept very clean, and proper precautions are in place to ensure a safe environment for all. The food was good & varied as well, with at least two choices for each meal. Plenty of daily social activities to partake of if you want, a hair salon on site, transportation is available to attend your offsite appointments. If you’re offered a choice of rehab facilities to attend while you’re in hospital: I highly recommend you choose Oak Knoll, to get back into your life at home and routines quickly.

A family member is a short term patient here after a stroke. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of the wonderful staff here so far as the guardian: Kiplee-the PT, Olanda, Ryan-the admission officer, Hector, Saeeda, Madison, and some of the other nurses whom I don’t know by name. They are all hardworking and do a lot for the patients and my family member, and I am truly grateful for their support. My one concern is sometimes there’s an absence in communication. I.e. the nurses didn’t seem to be on the same page about when my family member was not receiving the continuous feed (some said he had a break between 12 pm and 6 pm others said 6 pm and 12 am). I also had to inquire as to why he was getting so many blood glucose tests when he was on a continuous feed (thankfully they reviewed and decreased it by one less test). Another example is when I gave them permission to put a catheter in on a Friday but when I went in to see my family member the following Sunday, there was no catheter in place. No one provided an update on the fact that they were removing it in the first place…and my family member cannot speak so cannot advocate for themselves yet. It makes me concerned, but overall it would not deter me from choosing to send my relative to Oak Knoll. Their association with Spaulding is one reason why I chose this facility and the staff and medical personnel really do seem to work hard overall.
My mom was recently a rehab patient at Oak Knoll following a hospitalization. The facility was clean, neat and welcoming to enter. Front desk staff were pleasant every time I visited. My mom was cared for well during her time in rehab (3 weeks) and her needs were met. They worked hard to get her follow up appointments with outpatient providers (thanks Paula!), gave wonderful care (shout out to Naomi and Mia), and she had a positive experience working with the rehab team (thank you Connor and Rachel)! And a Big thanks to Olmy, who made my mom feel human, cared for, and safe. Whenever there was a small issue it was attended to quickly. Would recommend if looking for sub-acute rehabilitation for you or a loved one.
My mom had a great stay at Oak Knoll. I just wanted to leave a review to acknowledge the excellent nurses and aides on the rehab unit who cared for her. The physical therapy department was amazing too! A special thank you to the patient advocate Olmy for checking in on my mom daily to make sure she had everything she needed. Highly recommend this spot to others!!
A family member of mine had recently stayed here and I couldn’t say nicer things about the staff. Though we were only there for a short time, each person we encountered treated my loved one and family with respect and was very helpful. I would recommend to others needing a place for a family member.
