My mother in law recently moved into Oak Hill Terrace. Although it was a rough transition for her, the kind, knowledgeable staff has been very helpful helping her to settle in. Although the building is older, it is clean and kept up. There are so many activities for residents to engage in. And she loves the food and menu items! So far our experience has been wonderful! The aids have been really fun and truly seem to care for the residents! So glad we chose Oak Hill terrace!

I have been here a month and I’m very happy with the community. I am a positive person and I’ve made up my mind. I’m going to like it. And I do like it here. The people are very friendly. I enjoy the activities and even the fishing trip was really fun. I caught 2 fish!
Oakhill Terrace is a business, and nothing else. They do not care about the resident's well being, cleanliness or care. My family member was not able to walk and the cleaning staff never mopped the floors in his bathroom or kitchen once in over a year. The room was always dirty with food all over the floor and sticky. The toilet was always filthy and the room always smelled like urine. As soon as the self pay money runs out, they will make you move out even though they say they won't. The aides are not trained well and I would find them eating my family members food and drinks in his room while he was in the dining room. I would routinely see the aides outside in their cars smoking Mary Jane and then walking inside to care for patients. Also, be aware that if your loved one cannot bathe themselves, this facility is only required by law to give one shower per week and that is all they will ever get! We begged for 2 showers a week when we were paying over $8,000 per month rent and they would say they would do it, but never did. Just sad that our loved one had to live the way he did while he was there. Avoid this place if you can. Go to a smaller facility where you'll get better care.
I had my community clinical at Oak Hill. It was very clean and tidy. All the residents and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The residents seemed to enjoy living here and had lots of activities to participate in. They provided great care to the residents and I would totally recommend it.
Oak Hill Terrace is an amazing assisted living facility. My Grandmother and two of my aunts lived there, when they could no longer stay at home. It was so nice knowing they could age in place at Oak Hill and all their cares were met. The environment is very welcoming. You can truly feel the warmth and compassion when you walk in the building. Residents are genuinely happy. The activity calendar is always full. There are always smiling faces from the staff. Oak Hill has a memory care that is amazing. There is tons of natural light, a courtyard for residents to enjoy nice days outside with a gazebo. There are tons of fun and interesting activities in memory care as well. I am so happy our family found Oak Hill.
