My mom stayed there during covid to rehab from hip surgery and iv always wanted to review this place. Her stay was awful. They lost her partial...barring one aid and rehab therapist the general staff was awful. They let go a heel sore on my mom that turned into a major deal. One nurse im sorry that i dont remember her name was down right mean. I wouldn't bring my dog to the place .I doubt it's gotten better .Awful.

What a terrible experience for my poor father....they didn't stop his medication in time for his surgery as the hospital ordered so he had to wait a painstaking 4 more weeks to have a kidney procedure done resulting in 60k worth of extra bills....they were giving him insulin even though he was not diabetic they were not giving him the right pills at the right times, the food was inedible, the therapy was billing triple the actual hrs worked, he was never taken out of his room in 7 weeks, rarely dressed, malnourished, moved from his bed once a day which resulted in sores, he was laying on soaked sheets and was too afraid to say anything because of their already terrible attitudes and also had weekly utis that led to hallucinations and multiple hospitalizations....they deserve 0 stars what a terrible way to treat the elderly....once we discovered he was moved to a new rehab where he is flourishing has regained his strength is walking alone and gained back some of his weight he lost there and is about to go to independent living....4 weeks after they said he was vegetative
I gave 1 star for the excellent floor staff. I am sorry to say that was the only quality thing about my stay. My stay at Northwoods Lodge was not a pleasant experience. The only good part of my time there was the CNAS and staff on my wing. They were caring, empathetic and extremely helpful. They would go the extra mile. They deserve far better pay, benefits and awards for all they do. Bring your own food or you will go hungry most of the time. The food they serve is worse than hospital food. My grandson-in-law, a chef, was appalled and angry at the meal he saw served to me. Thankfully he and my granddaughter brought enough food, snacks and pop to keep me for far longer than my stay. I was there almost 3 days before any therapy began. The therapy itself was helpful. However I only had 4 or 5 1/2 hour sessions before I left. I truly feel Medicare and the taxpayers were "ripped off". Kind of like the Armed forces paying $30,000.00 for a toilet seat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTHWOODS LODGE.
Northwoods Lodge is a top-tier rehab facility. I am the administrator for Generations Home Care in Kitsap County and I love partnering with this facility. Adam, Kaeun and team are excellent. We have sent CNAs there to do clinical hours, we've worked with patients leaving their facility. Any which way you chop it up the experience is always positive, professional, and efficient. If you are needing rehab care for your loved one, I would greatly advocate for Northwoods Lodge.
My experience at Northwoods Lodge Rehab Center was excellent all levels of their staff did their job very professionally with a caring and friendly attitude. All of the physical therapists who worked with me were very good. My primary PT was Sarah Hanson who was outstanding with out her expertise, motivation, and positive attitude I would not have had such a successful experience while at Northwoods Lodge. Without Sarah I would not have been able to progress as quickly I did in meeting the requirements to move to in house therapy. Thank you to the staff at Northwoods Lodge and a giant thank you to Sarah Hanson. Your greatful patient Lee Willson
