We moved our mom to Northgate Plaza a couple of months ago. She loves it there!! The move-in process was made easy with the guidance of Nicole, Michelle and Brian.The staff is all wonderful and very helpful. Our mom feels like she is “at home”. Our mom loves the activities, special outings and having transportation provided to her medical appointments. The meals are delicious and the servers take time to get to know her and her food preferences. Our mom was able to bring her little fur baby with her which has been a blessing. She enjoys the guest musicians and sing-a-longs. One of her favorite activities is playing the game, Pokino, several nights a week with the other residents!

Just wanted to give Northgate Plaza a big-time positive shout out. Our mom is a resident there for a couple of months now and the care and attention to her needs has really been top notch. EVERYBODY there is genuinely kind and excellent at what ever role they fill at Northgate Plaza. We're grateful that mom has a safe and compassionate place to be. More important is that her experience is very positive and she's very happy with her living experience. They've got many daily activities, they can get out and about, the food is very good.....yep, an awesome place for folks who need a little assistance in life.
What a beautiful community! I attended the Holiday craft fair and also took a tour of a lovely two bedroom unit. The Holiday event was full of craftspeople, artisans and sprinkled with culinary surprises. The two bedroom was spacious with two bathrooms and an airy kitchenette with a gorgeous back splash. It was a space easy to call home.
Outstanding staff of caregivers at all levels such as Michele, Denice, Nicole , Lisa K. , CeCe, Ziva, Genet and Daniella plus many others. They are always willing to go that extra mile to help us residents. A warm, friendly environment always exists and provides a feeling of comfort and safety. Many interesting activities are available to keep us engaged and entertained. Chef Lisa and her staff always serve up delicious and varied meals. I would recommend this place to anyone!
My mom has been living at MBK Northgate for about six months now. There were some hiccups during the onboarding because of some miscommunication between staff members, but over time they resolved themselves. The care staff here are excellent, if pricey (cost of care increases every year, separate from the rent increase). We ended up hiring an additional private caretaker because my mom needs more help right now, but I'm happy with MBK's staff as a pricier backup option. Phil is absolutely incredible as a staff member and always makes my mom laugh (he also puts on great weekly guitar concerts). The food is decent and the headchef is outstanding and goes above and beyond to accommodate my mom. I toured countless assisted living facilities in Seattle including Aegis, Merrill, etc, and I've been very happy with MBK as a combination of price, quality, and caring staff members. I find often more expensive facilities don't necessarily provide more care, just more expensive furniture.
