My personal experience with this facility has been a wonderful and learning experience. Some of the employees have taught me what having true patience is all about. One of the most important things that I believe should be improved there is there menu. They already have 1 amazing and talented cook there, let her have more creativity in that area and things would improve in a positive direction. Second, to have more activities for certain residents. Their time there would be more enjoyable. I surely hope that these changes will be considered in the future for their residents.

I have been a resident at North Lake for the past 5 years. It is by far the BEST assisted living facility I have ever lived at. Knowing that every place has its positives and negatives. I am persuaded by the following examples: When I and my friend first moved in a staff member George unpacked our belongings so that we could adjust to our new facility more easily. Our air conditioner stopped working at 11am by 2:30 a staff member Leo installed a new ac. The staff will gladly help me if it is a reasonable request. My prior facility took 2 weeks to install a new ac. At every meal we are served at our tables coffee, or tea, and milk. At my prior facility the residents had to line up for our meals and medications. If you don't like the meal served you have the option of turkey and cheese or bologna and cheese.
If I could give this place a zero I definitely would ! Staff members are very rude . Some of the guests are very rude and very threatening the new guests. This place is a dump. They are thieves. Took my family members purse away and her phone. When we asked about it no one knew where it was. Police were called and miraculously the items were recovered. It appears that her bank account has been violated now we don't know about the credit cards. They don't allow guests to these people's rooms see how they're living. The dining room is nasty anyone and everyone has to walk to the kitchen to get out to the main living area. I seriously think this place needs to be investigated and as do some of these staff members.
We taught our CPR class here and the staff were very engaging. It’s nice to know that they care that much for patient safety. The administration is very attentive as well, and responsive to emails. Our experince as a vendor has been nothing short of pleasant.
If I could give zero stars thats what I would give. First off, the people that work there are RUDE! My aunt is in this facility and unfortunately we could not object to this place because she picked this place out without knowing what she was picking as she had brain surgery and was not capable of making that decision. When we went for the first time to visit, one of the workers ran us off and said when we're we leaving... They have stolen her belongings and have done absolutely nothing about it. My aunt lives in fear as she told us when we visited her she would get in trouble if we said something. They are a retirement home and no transport for their appointments. Never seen a home without transportation! But yet they put her in a car to take her to the bank to withdraw money... hmm sketchy! I would definitely NOT recommend this place!
