The physical and occupational therapy is fantastic. The local rehab/nursing home had pretty much written my husband off and sent him home to basically die. He is now and has been walking with help and improving each day. He loves working with the therapist and enjoys the activities there. I can’t thank everyone enough for their love and support. They treat him with such respect. The only suggestions I would recommend is for dementia patients is that they be checked on every 15 minutes. Also, a pamphlet/brochure would be helpful that gives guidance on what’s available to families ( food, refreshments, etc ) and the chain of command to recover missing items. When you first come in there’s a lot going on and you just can’t remember some of the details that you have been told about. Again, my spouse is thriving there and only wish there were more facilities like this so all veterans can experience the best of the best care that they deserve. Keep up the great work.

Regrettably, effective communication regarding the quality of care has been compromised. The facility staff’s primary focus was on the dynamics of our family, rather than addressing the concerns of my sister and I had regarding our father’s well-being. Nurses exhibited reluctance to take action on straightforward requests, necessitating a meeting with the Director of Nursing to establish a comprehensive care plan. This was due to the nursing staff’s reluctance to honor my request for transportation to the hospital, as my father had developed a yeast infection resulting from inadequate hygiene care and had caused me to request due to the level of stress it was causing on his body. My sister and I are currently in the process of transferring him to my home. Within a two-week period, through proactive and assertive actions, we have successfully removed several unnecessary medications, implemented a hygiene routine, and transitioned our father away from hospice/palliative care. I am deeply concerned for families who entrust their loved ones to the care of this facility and are unable to advocate for their well-being as we have. Unfortunately, due to our inquiries and concerns regarding my father’s care, the staff has perceived us as adversaries, when in reality, we have been his sole advocates.
My dad has been to this facility since December 2024. He is 91 years old with. Profound hearing loss. The facility is beautiful but the staff are even better. They understand his needs, treat him with respect, and communicate with my sister and I constantly. I trust these people.
My cousin has just been fortunate enough to get a room in this wonderful facility. My wife and I were greatly pleased with the wonderful quality of the staff. Everyone is pleasant and professional and very welcoming of guests visiting loved ones. Absolutely no unpleasant smells and every part of well designed building complex clean.
CNAs on Bravo hall sitting & playing on their phones & doing minimal care . ID badges always turned over so I don't know anyone's . name . I've requested a diverter for a vent in my husband room because it's blowing cold air on him . After several requests nothing has been done . I can't get an answer regarding getting my husbands hair washed & cut or finding out when he can be seen by a podiatrist. I am very pleased with the care given by Tracy in therapy & so far by the NPs .
