A complete joke of a company. They position themselves as student housing, but trying to book a studio is impossible. They don’t reply to emails, they don’t answer when you call. I got an email saying the booking period starts on June 1st, so I waited all day for the moment, and nothing. The next day, same story. Two days later, when finally a room appeared, there was only one, and it was the same for everyone. You can click ‘reserve’ as much as you want, nothing happens. So what do you get? They treat students like bags of money, zero support, a website worse than a small fast food café, and wasted days—especially during exam season. Well done, Nido! Excellent!

Living at Nido Randwyck has been convenient, comfortable, yet FRUSTRATING. The management treats tenants (adults in their late teens/20s) like disobedient children rather than paying residents. Instead of warnings or reminders, fines are issued immediately. No trash pickup for 500+ people? We’re expected to store garbage in our rooms? Dare to place your trash bag next to the can? Boom—€50 fine. Took them a few months to resolve that. We were also suddenly hit with an unexpected €250 water tax per person. Sure, it may be in the fine print of the contract, but some clarity or heads-up would have gone a long way. This lack of transparency feels more like a cash grab than responsible management. Same applies to the never-mentioned service fee when signing the parking contract. My rent is high and I am a student, I would appreciate clarity. The back exit being locked for months due to a broken door is another issue. We are expected to walk around the entire building just to reach the benches or our cars. Meanwhile, they issue fines for using the one door that makes practical sense “emergency exit”. Despite all this, I want to acknowledge Ruud, the manager remains professional and polite, and I appreciate his efforts. The rooms themselves are decent. But a little common sense and a lot more respect for your tenants would go a long way. I pay over €700 monthly to reside here, I expect better general maintenance and kindness, I don’t appreciate “salty” comments, thanks!
I called and emailed theme several times to get my 500 euro(!!!) deposit back and they played it dumb for months, sustaining that it was refunded already, each time i called they told me a different date on when they supposedly refunded me. One time they even told me that the it was refunded in September(?) so while I was still in the studio. Sent a formal request trough a law.-firm threatening legal action and magically the deposit was in my bank account couple days later. It may seem cheap but they will try everything to get money out of your pocket.
The living environment is great and most of their staffs are nice except the Philippine staff, she is lazy and won’t do her tasks, had issues with her several times and her attitude was very rude and provocative especially when her boss is not in the office. First time I talked to her was 4pm she complained about me being there so late that she’s getting out of work… but the truth is I was there at 2pm waited for 30minutes but no one is in the office so I waited till 4pm she’s finally there. Second time I talked to her she told me to make a bank transfer for my rent in march to Nido and she will take care of it on Monday, later in April I found out she did not do her JOB! Found out because when I was paying my rent in April I saw I needed to pay for the rent for March. Then I talked to her she denied that I send an email to Nido before I showed her the email I send in March 2nd…. I don’t know why she’s still not getting fired.
As a former resident who checked out at the end of December, I initially had no major complaints about my stay. However, now that I’m waiting for my deposit refund, communication has been nonexistent. Their last email—sent exactly two weeks ago—stated that my refund had already been processed and I just needed to wait for the funds to reach my bank account. Two weeks later, I have received no refund and no response to my multiple emails. This is why I’m leaving this review. Update 26/2 : After I literally spammed them with emails to get them to notice my name, they called me on 19/2 just to tell me some bullsh**. I finally got my deposit refund yesterday, 25/2, BUT it was 20 euros less! I have been sending them emails and calling them more than 20 times, and nothing. Overall thoughts about Nido Randwyck: nice studios to live in, but terrible staff with scammy behavior.
