Agata and Zaneta were the best wound care nurses I have ever met. I was in a critical state with multiple infections and surgeries in my hip, and they both took care of me daily over a course of a month. They had amazing bedside manner and helped me recover not only physically but also mentally. They were both very warm, personable, and easy to talk to. Both of them were super helpful and made me feel very taken care of, as if I were their family member. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent care and help will be guaranteed with these two. Patient Andrzej Florczyk.

I recently stayed at New Summit Rehabilitation Center for a period of 8 weeks for wound care and for 8 weeks long antibiotic treatment. Here are some of my experiences: There was some difficulty coordinating my home medications and dosages on my arrival. I think this was due to a lack of adequate communication from the hospital staff prior to my transfer. This was easily resolved as my daughter and the nurse manager met and confirmed all medication and dosing. My room was clean on arrival and was cleaned at least once a day. The general facilities were adequate and up to my standards in terms of size, space and cleanliness. I also liked the nice outdoor courtyard so I could have some fresh air. The staff were professional. They treated me with kindness and respect and met my needs in a timely manner when I had requests (with minor exceptions). The wound care teams: Agata Hajkowska and Zaneta Dyminska as well as few other employees (don’t have their names), which was my primary reason for staying, were excellent in meeting all my wound care needs and made me feel included with my care. The food was average, but I was not expecting a five-star restaurant during my stay. I appreciated the fridge in the room so I could store some of my own snacks. My care was straightforward; I cannot speak to what a patient with complex needs may experience. I also understand that there has been a significant nursing shortage since covid, and some issues are not a reflection of the wonderful staff but more of an overall management team.
My grandmother was at New Summit for a little over a month after breaking her hip and shoulder. She was very well taken care by the staff and they were always so accommodating if she needed anything. The facility was very clean and modern. There was even a sitting area where our entire family could visit with her. Overall, I would recommend New Summit to anyone in need of rehabilitation. During a very difficult time for our family, everyone at New Summit was always so warm, caring, and compassionate.
My mom went here for rehab to get her strength back after a hospital stay. She was in need of assistance in many aspects, due to her age and lack of muscle tone. She felt neglected, she would push assistance button for bathroom help...20-30 min later staff would arrive. She received little to no physical therapy...and occupational therapy was laughable. The facility had excuses...The she infection she had got worse, and she was taken back to the hospital. I feel this facility is understaffed, and the staff feel overwhelmed at times. My family and I spoke to staff about my mom's condition, as we saw issues, and not much was done to help her. My mom is at different rehab facility now and getting much better help. She feels more respected, and cared for. I will never recommend this place...it has definitely gone downhill since the time it was Traditional Care . So don't be deceived by the looks of the facility...I feel in some cases, this place does the bare minimum and only wants to collect insurance money.
This facility is beautiful, both inside and outside. The staff are so friendly and willing to help you if you have questions. I met with the administrator and she was so kind and helpful in answering my questions. The nurses I spoke with were great! I was visiting a friend who’s father was doing rehabilitation after surgery and the nurses showed they truly cared about his wellbeing!
