My 88 year old mother absolutely loves living at New Perspective! She lives in a large studio apartment with high ceilings and a balcony. The facility is clean feels like a high end hotel when you walk in. The food is great, there are daily activities, an indoor pool and even a lounge. she has talked to several people who checked out similar facilities and all said New Perspective was the best. We are lucky to have my mom there.

My Mother recently experienced some health issues and needed a safe place to live where she could receive assistance with day-to-day living. We toured New Perspective and Mom said she felt like she was home! Kris & Sharon have been nothing short of amazing to work with! They were flexible with move-in dates, and helped expedite medical assessments and paperwork when needed. Mom enjoys the comradery and busy activity schedule. New Perspective has an Ambassador program and pairs new tenants up with seasoned residents to help them " learn the ropes". There is constantly something to do!! Mom is also impressed with the food AND the wait staff in the dining hall. She hasn't been long, but hasn't been served anything from the menu she didn't like! Overall, New Perspective gets an A+
I recently moved my parents into New Perspectives, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable and cared for. When we have questions, the staff responds to our emails in a timely manner with thoughtful and complete answers. One of the benefits of this community is the engaging environment. There are numerous activities and social events that encourage residents to get out of their rooms and meet new people, fostering a sense of community and belonging. The application process was straightforward and easy, making the transition smooth and stress-free. The apartments are nice and clean, providing a welcoming space for residents to call home. Overall, this community has exceeded our expectations in every way.
As a professional who monitors these facilities for years in MN, I would never recommend this place. My mother-in-law was in memory care . I never saw compassion from any of the workers. Many times, you couldn’t find a staff member . My husband witnessed an assault after a woman walked into a man’s room. She was bleeding out of her ear . He had to try to find staff to report there is an assault going on here! Sadly, my mother-in-law had 2 falls there recently . She passed away a few days ago.
We moved our mom to New Perspective in March 2024. She has adjusted amazingly well and has met some great friends already. She of course misses her house but this has been a perfect fit for her, she is engaged, and has found the staff to be wonderful. She enjoys the activites and of course the lunch time food. My brothers and I feel good knowing she is safe and happy. She is in Independent Living!
