My dear mother spent the last four years of her life in New Perspective Long Grove's Memory Care residence. My family could not be happier with the excellent care she received from the nurses and aides in memory care. My husband and I are so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to my mom as her health declined. My mom was very comfortable and happy with her NP caregivers. A special thank you to Massa, Girlie, Gloria, Sheila, Alma, Kate, Rayna, Susan and all the other wonderful caregivers that put a smile on my mother's face each day. You are forever in our hearts. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful front office staff.

I am very excited to share the very positive experience we have had with New Perspective Senior Living! I had been helping my mother find an assisted living source and after a number of visits to other locations we found New Perspective to have a very high quality staff and a very beautiful facility. On our visit we were given a wonderful tour of the nice apartments, dining area, and other activity areas that are all very luxurious and even invited for lunch. We also met a number of very friendly and caring staff members. Finally we were very pleased to see that the pricing is very competitive and in the end my mother decided to make this her new wonderful home! She has been able to make many new friends and enjoys the many activities New Perspective Senior Living provides. Overall this has been and excellent choice!!
My mom and dad moved in October. In November my mom broke her hip and NP jumped in and helped to assure my dad was well taken care of while she was in the hospital. I cannot thank them enough for that! Unfortunately we lost dad in December but I know he was well cared for and comfortable. My mom had 2 what I consider serious incidents. One was on the night of my dad’s funeral. Both incidents were similar. My mom needed assistance while recovering from her hip replacement and pressed her pendant for help. She was left a long time without any response from the caregivers. We had to drive in to help her. As you can imagine I was VERY upset. I repeatedly met with onsite management and eventually called the district director. He was very helpful and explained the changes he was in the process of implementing. He alleviated my concerns and I chose to give NP another chance. It’s been 5 months since we’ve had any problems. The changes implemented have been working well. Mom is happy and appreciates the help the caregivers provide. Some go above and beyond what should be expected. I’m glad we decided to stay with NP. Mom has made many friends and looks forward to the activities. Kelly and Katherine have been great. Special callouts to Jamie and Nick. Jamie makes it fun for my mom and encourages everyone to participate in the activities. My mom loves her. Nick seems to wear multiple hats but I have never seen him when he wasn’t bristling with positivity. Always happy to help. The food has gone downhill at bit lately and there needs to be more servers. I visit 3-4 times a week and see a lot and am comfortable and confident with the care mom has been receiving.
I am thrilled to share my experience with the recent changes in management that took place back in July. The new Executive Director has had a profoundly positive impact on the community. I was so impressed with the transformation that I referred two of my family friends to this community. They are both extremely satisfied with their decision and have expressed how well they are being cared for. The staff is attentive, and the facility is well-maintained, creating an environment where residents feel safe and valued. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a supportive and nurturing environment for their loved ones.
My 96 year old mom, moved into New Perspective March 6 2025. I am thrilled that everyone is so friendly and kind. I know that my mom is in great hands. I would like to especially commend Reyna Avala. She was the first person I met that cares for mom. She is kind, compassionate, and funny. She cares for me too! You are lucky to have her.❤️
