Choosing this nursing facility during the holiday season was a wonderful decision. The festive decorations create a warm and cheerful atmosphere, making it a comforting place for my loved one's recovery. The staff's dedication combined with the festive spirit makes this facility feel like a supportive and uplifting community. Grateful for the thoughtful touch that truly enhances the recovery experience.
Five stars for this nursing facility! The staff is incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and caring environment. I noticed here they enjoy a variety of engaging activities, from stimulating games to enriching social events. It's a community that not only prioritizes health but also ensures a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle. Highly recommend for both excellent care and a lively atmosphere.
Great experience here very professional understanding my circumstances with my loved one compared to other experiences I had. Wish all nursing homes cared this much to how the way I was treated here. Very caring.
I was a patient there from June through October 2024. Was able to observe the facility and staff extensively. Here are my honest impressions: PROS: ---The food is generally tasty, sufficient and healthy. --- The physical therapy section is excellent with dedicated staff. ---Many of the CNAs are devoted to the patients and take their job seriously. ---The administrators are receptive to suggestions and input. ---The facility is kept clean, for the most part. ---Good activities scheduled for residents. CONS: ---Horrendous parking problem. ---Chronically understaffed. As a result, the patients are forced to wait a long time for a CNA to attend them. --- Some of the CNAs are there just for a paycheck. I personally witnessed cases of patients being screamed at and being mistreated. ---In July I told the Administration that they needed to supervise the evening, and especially, the night shift CNAs. Some of these pick the night shift so they don't have to work hard. There is no supervision. They are supposed to get a 30 minute dinner, but a few of them spend an hour + in the break room. The people at the nurse's stations ignore this. Why? Because, in most cases, they are friends with the CNAs! This situation has NOT been corrected! ---Some of the staff routinely use off-color and 4-letter words in front of patients and visitors...very unprofessional.
