My mom is in New Era. She has been there since November. The staff is always nice. My mom has dementia and they were great with adjusting her med times. She would get agitated if they would wake her up to take them. They also do well with making sure her hygiene is being taken care of. She is actually putting on weight to bc they are able to make sure she eats breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks. I can call or text anytime and they will let me know how she’s doing. They have made it where we can still come visit even with COVID.

Bad management. Teanna, supposedly the administrator, is perpetually unavailable and won't return calls. After further investigation through ACHA, this facility has several strikes against them for infractions and has been fined several times.
DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. This place does not look like the website. Rundown exterior and landscape, rundown interior, filthy windows, smelled awful, depressing looking people staying there. Looks like a dungeon for the criminally insane. Very sad.
my father who has dementia was baker acted for pushing a cart at someone as the rent was due. in 4 weeks they had dr change all his meds he became aggitated they sedated him and i would find him sleeping thru meals he lost tremendous weight. rooms were 60 degrees at night 3 workers at night for 50 residents.his showerhad a major water leak for the whole time there was roach feces in the drawers .i want the world to know.this is the truth
When I first meet Cheryl I didn’t know at the time God was sending an angel to take care of my mom she and her trained staff always did an excellent job in taking care of not only my mom but all the other clients also I ( from experience) had an issue up and address Cheryl and she (Personally handled) the issue she IS the leader to guide New Era and any other facilities to new heights your friend and family Freddrick Brown
