Spent about three months there after an accident. I was working on getting my walking back. The nurses, especially Laura were fine. Most of the aids were there just because they needed a job with the exception of Crystal and Sonny. They were awesome. Physical therapy was good when I got it. I loved all the therapists No therapy on weekends. So that was wasted time. Latasha, the unit manager, ran hot and cold with me. and wasn't always nice. I am old but I don't act old so I will stick up for myself and know my rights and did. There were a couple aids that actually laughed at me when I was wheeling around in the wheelchair. I did fall after I waited an hour and a half to get an aid to assist me to the bathroom. I was not allowed to barely move after that. Most nights I wet the bed waiting for an aid The food was fair but I didn't come for the food and the place was very clean. I was very depressed there and don't feel it was a friendly atmosphere. I was never allowed to use the walker by myself even with a therapist there in the room. Therefore it was extremely difficult when I got home. I spent most days just sitting in the wheelchair because I was not allowed to be in bed. I would never recommend this place. It was more of a nursing home than rehab.

I am deeply appreciative of the outstanding care my 93-year-old aunt received at New Albany Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center. From the moment she arrived, it was evident she was in capable and compassionate hands. The entire team, including the Administrator, Kacy Gilliland, demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and kindness. Their unwavering commitment ensured my aunt’s comfort throughout her stay. I highly recommend New Albany Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center for their exceptional service and compassionate care. I will forever appreciate their unwavering support.
The nurses and aids were not helpful. All of the employees had an attitude. They gave my grandfather an attitude anytime we asked a simple question about medication or help in the room. We were also told we could stay with him overnight and they turned around and said we weren’t allowed because of a sudden “policy change” of which they didn’t show us proof.
Nurses take at least25. Mins to get to you after you call. They fuss at you when you ask a question. They will even stop helping you and go elsewhere, leaving you in limbo. I sat with a wet undergarment for four hours before someone came to finish the job! They are Seriously understaffed. And unless you can understand their dialects( they're h won't be able to communicate well. You also have to make them aware of your dietary restrictions. You can't choose your breakfast lunch or din̈ner. They know nothing about helping you putting on or assembling a. C-p ap mask.
I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the team at Cranberry Park for helping my family out in a pinch with my Aunt Catherine. My cousins and I were set to go on a trip and my Aunt needed last minute support so she wasn't alone while we were gone. Kacy and the team at Cranberry Park quickly assisted us with preparing a rehab and recovery room that was perfect for the week long stay. My aunt had a wonderful experience. She loved the food, the staff and the company of other residents. We all felt the loving care she was getting and it eased our minds to know she was in such good hands while we were away. THANK YOU Cranberry Park New Albany!
