My beautiful loving mom lived there for a while and trust me if we had it to do over again, we as her family would not even think about putting her there. Her room was dirty, and alot of other things that I won't talk about for reasons. But, the food was horrible, no wonder she didn't want to eat. Also, the staff will tell you what you want to hear but trust me, they're blowing smoke up your ass. This place should be closed down. The management doesn't care about the residents only the money. I urge anyone whose thinking of putting their family member here, DON'T DO IT!! THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT DO NOT CARE. They sit in the office with blinders on. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place us filthy and absolutely unprofessional as far as their staff goes. They must pull them off the street as they will hire anyone. Don't trust these people with your family member. There is mold in this facility that is very dangerous.

We placed my mother in this facility 4 years ago. If we then what we know now that never would have happened. The place is filthy. The staff is less than acceptable. They show a lot of ignorance. The conditions of this facility led to the decline of my mother's health and she eventually died. If you care anything about a loved one that you're considering placing in assisted living, please find somewhere else. Do not put them in this facility. You will regret it.
My mother in law lives at the Grove. She loves it so much that she doesn't want to leave. Activities are great. Food is wonderful. The staff is always top-notch. Always clean, always inviting to everyone.
I cannot say enough good things about Myrtle Beach Estates. After looking many places, I knew this was a perfect fit for us. The staff at MBE is not only professional, but they are loving and supportive to the resident as well as to the entire family. They are always available to hear our needs and go over and above in fulfilling the needs of the residents as well as the needs of the family. Our mother is almost 94, and she became more “alive” than ever after moving here. Daily activities are perfect. Having a beauty salon on site is fabulous. The food is wonderful, and they listen to suggestions from the residents. Bryan Crawford, executive director, is a jack of all trades. He, as well as the other staff members, pitch in to help their residents in whatever capacity they are needed. The best part of being a resident here is that they consider your loved one family. It’s not just talk, they truly act on it. It brings great comfort knowing we made the best possible choice. It’s affordable, and there is not a “nickel and dime” mentality here. Five stars isn’t enough, they get 10 + from us!
My brother stayed here and the care he received was outstanding . Activities, food, cleanliness and beautiful rooms in a convenient location. Many activities and live performances plus religious observation in the large main room on Sundays. Beautiful environment, rocking chairs outside under shade, friendly and caring staff, always there for your needs. I recommend a Tour if interested, its more like a big family. With genuine love for the residents.
