Dom-Pedro-Platz 6, 80637 München, Germany
My mother - terminally ill but of sound mind - ended up there in 2022 after a hospital stay - it was sheer horror: - Room was completely dirty upon arrival (stains and hair in and on the bed, broken and dirty furniture, dirty bathroom, etc.) It was fixed after I pointed it out, the staff were also embarrassed. - rough and unfriendly reception (you can be a little nice even without knowing the language..) - Dementia patients "ghost" through their rooms day and night (which of course they can't do anything about - but for an almost blind, terminally ill woman this is pure stress. The only solution suggested is locking the room...) - At night, a single carer without knowledge of German was responsible for 40 very sick, partly severely demented, care-intensive, helpless people (which, according to the home management, is in accordance with the law - therefore no need for action... but a catastrophe for those affected on both sides) - According to my mother, photos were taken of her entire body, which the home management vehemently denied when I asked politely (it could have been that this was common - what do I know!?) and made no attempt to clarify this. - my mother was forgotten on the toilet chair for 1.5 (!) hours. The nurse was incredibly sorry - she had simply been completely overwhelmed. There is a shortage of nursing staff everywhere - but fortunately I was able to experience in other facilities that things can still be humane and friendly. (Where the prices were significantly lower than at the MünchenStift...) I am referring here exclusively to my own experience, which I can also prove. Of course there were individual employees who were lovely and hard working, I would like to thank them!

Beautiful garden, cafeteria very good, clean, hygienic, lots of leisure activities: people play, do puzzles, sing and laugh. The committed, friendly living area management is very helpful in all matters and you feel like you are in good hands. Carers and service staff are hard-working, friendly and have a loving nature. My mother is in long-term care in living area 5. Everything fits perfectly!
My mother, who suffers from dementia, has been in day care 3 days a week for a good 2 years. She really enjoys going there, not only because of the other day care guests but especially because of the great nursing staff. Sabine Herbrich (head of day care) and her team take touching care of the day care guests. A varied program is offered. Dancing, painting, playing with the therapy dog and, when the weather is nice, a coffee chat in the complex's beautiful garden. Family afternoons take place regularly, be it a fashion show, a barbecue or a meal together. I always enjoy visiting and always experience a very pleasant atmosphere. Without exception, the nursing staff are all professional in their jobs and super friendly! I am very grateful that my mother knows that she is in good hands with you!
My 99-year-old mother has been in the Munich Stift Heilig Geist for long-term care in residential group 9, living area 5, for about three months. There is a beautiful garden, a cafeteria and canteen, a church in the house with a nativity scene that is maintained all year round, it is very clean and hygienic, there are many leisure activities available, people often play together, do puzzles, paint, sing and laugh. The committed and friendly living area management is very helpful, friendly, attentive in all matters, and you feel like you are in good hands. The nurses and service staff are hard-working, warm-hearted, friendly, sensitive and have a loving nature. In short: everything fits perfectly!
My mother was in residential area 5 after a hospital stay for short-term care and was confronted with inpatient care for the first time ever. The nurses are all very nice and my mother was treated very well. Great care was taken to ensure that my mother was clean and tidy, so clothes were always changed if something was dirty. Every move was documented, even my calls and points, so that handovers to the next nursing staff worked smoothly. Likewise, I was always kept up to date by the management, Mr. Lizanin, and we discussed points together. Physio and occupational therapy were organized and when there was no therapist available, my mother was walked through the hallway by the nursing staff once a day, if possible, so that she would not become bedridden. At the weekend there was volunteer help who took residents to the small park. I can recommend Station 5 with a very clear conscience!
