Needed to get mom in asap from a short hospital stay. The hospital wanted mom out immediately - we needed an extra day to get paperwork processed and Tyranni intervened for us and got us the extra time. The process was smooth and quick. The staff is super nice and helpful. Everything is clean. The residents are taken care of extremely well. The staff interacts with patients when they have different activities and always check on the residents to make sure they are ok. The staff learns the residents likes and dislikes and treats the residents like family.

I placed my mother in here at the end of January 2025, she was in rough shape, and had terrible experiences at other homes. In just under a month her health issues have improved (not her dementia), and it is all because of the incredible care and compassion that my mom has been getting. Every staff member has such incredible compassion for every patient there. I’m still amazed that all the staff knows every patient by name. The facility is incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and their food is very good; my mom was barely eating before she was moved there, now she eats just about everything at every meal. The staff brings all the patients to the dining room for their 3 meals a day. The community room is very large and a nice hang out for patients and visitors, the staff can keep an eye on them. All the patients are clean and dressed everyday. No one is ever neglected. The rooms for the patients are very nice and can be decorated as the family or patient likes (within reason of course). Scott is fantastic, he took the time to help get my moms room to look more homey with things I brought in for her. She is now very comfortable there. Tierney made the admission process very easy and super quick getting my mom moved in. I highly recommend this community for a loved one needing memory care. I know my mom is in good hands, getting exceptional care and they in turn have given me the gift of peace of mind.
My dear sister started with Walnut Ridge Memory care and is very content and relaxed with Mt View Memory Care as I am. When I visit, the facility is very busy, sometimes very chaotic, but handled with patience and care. I usually leave the facility and ask a caregiver to take my sister and they do without hesitation. The best part of this story is when asked to go with a caregiver, my sis never hesitates or makes a fuss which in turn makes my heart happy. They almost always dance with her and she is happy. Kisses are available all the time, with positive words and hugs. The family did have some incidents with my sis and some injuries, but as always handled with care and love. When Sis had to be in a wheelchair for a few weeks, Holly and Krista were so very very happy when she was released. I truly believe Holly cried. Krista always said they cant wait for my sister to walk and dance again and with their wonderful care, she was up and about in record time. What caregivers care that much, MT. VIEW. I could go on and on, I NEVER COULD FACILITATE THIS HUGE BEAUTIFUL BIILDING, THE PATIENTS, THE KITCHEN, WHICH SERVES GREAT MEALS, AND BE A CAREGIVER. GOD BLESS HOLLY, KRISTA, AND ALL THE WONDERFUL STAFF WHO SHARE HUGS, COMPASSION, KISSES, AND HEARTFELT LOVE. MOST TIMES I GET HUGS BECAUSE IT IS HARD TO LEAVE MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER, BUT I LEAVE HER WITH GREAT CARE. GOD BLESS THESE PEOPLE. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
I have been visiting a resident at Mountain View Memory Care, and although I don’t usually write reviews, I felt this one was necessary. I’ve visited many facilities over the years, but this one truly stands out. The building is beautiful and always clean, but what impresses me most is the way the staff treat the residents—with such dignity and respect. They seem to take their work personally, which makes a huge difference in the quality of care. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting two specific staff members, Holly and Andrea, who really go above and beyond. They care for the residents as if they were family, with an honesty and compassion that is especially crucial in memory care. I’m grateful to have found a place where residents are in such caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Mountain View Memory Care.
Tierney went above and beyond to have my husband admitted to Mountain View. She kept in touch with the case-manager of Mount Nittany Hospital to make the transporting of Marc easy. The staff we met were very helpful and cheerful. The building is beautifully laid out. I am praying that Marc will learn to love it.
