It’s a nursing facility. It’s not going to be perfect and everywhere you go people are overworked and cannot attend to you as quickly as you may want. However, we had a great experience as my mom stayed at Morris view for almost 2 months. The OT, PT, and SLP were all knowledgeable, caring, but gave tough love when needed, and believe me it was! The nurses were as attentive as they could be. We could be a little needy at times so they couldn’t always get to us as quickly as we would have liked, but the main nurse that worked with my mom always knew what was going on and did her best to work with our plethora of needs. I guess the main complaint was my mom wasn’t thrilled with most of the food, but I think she has gotten quite picky in her older age :-) overall, would recommend more view for subacute rehab!

Quite simply.a for profit enterprise that is understaffed and neglectful. I received harassing emails and calls regarding Medicaid issues. However, my mother had numerous bed sores and never received a single call until it was dire. Never mentioned to me during visits. They don’t care about patients only profits (note they were recently sued for fraud and are repaying the state). Inexcusable staffing - and I am fairly certain the state agencies have underreported the severity of the issues. (Though there are some confirmed issues that the state fined them for). They probably have more financial staffers than nurses. Also, those five star reviews are almost certainly not real. Their positive image is manufactured. You only need to look at the mold on the ceilings….
Morris View and their new team have been a pleasure to work with! I can say it’s a breath of fresh air to feel heard and to know your loved ones will get the care that they need. Eryn is dedicated to ensuring the experience of the families she connects with is nothing short of amazing.
Just want to say it a pleasure when you come to visit morris view. Stacey H and Sara B are always so welcoming And polite . Musa O the security guard is always Very pleasant and helpful as well. A good place start with good people and this Place has exactly that . Felix Torres
This is not the place to send your loved one! We had a dear friend enter Morris View in February of 2023 and care was non-existent. He went there for rehabilitation and he could eat normally and was fairly healthy when admitted. Over a period of 6 days, he was no longer able to eat or swallow, was in a coma, and very close to death. No doctor ever visited him during his stay there. No one recognized how quickly his health was declining. His daughter arrived from Nevada and had him taken by ambulance to Morristown Hospital where he spent a week in the Emergency Room and 3 specialist doctors gradually brought him back to life. Morris View is a dangerous place and should not be open.
