A new company took over and it has been a steady, rapid decline and sh1tshow ever since! I keep addressing the same issues over & over and I am ready to lose my composure. They are horrendously understaffed in every area. Most of the decent staff are gone. A handful of them are barely hanging in there and I can’t completely blame them for the subpar care they give to the patients. Some of the nursing staff definitely need to rethink why they chose this profession and if they would want their loved ones treated like this. This place has almost no decent aides and pretty much a nonexistent housekeeping & maintenance staff. Unfortunately I have no control over when my mom is placed or I’d have her out of this place in a heartbeat! This country’s healthcare system and eldercare system is truly awful when people are at their most desperate times.

My family member is not getting the care he needs here ! The staff have been extremely rude, snarky and ignore my questions and requests. I have called his social worker and the admin. And pleaded for a return call numerous times in the past six weeks, no one has returned my calls. I feel he is fading away instead of being reabilitated! When I get there he seems medicated sitting alone in the hallway . No one will answer my concerns! The hygiene in his room has been horrific at times I ask where the leg lifts for his wheelchair are and they just stare at me. I asked that he go to the eye Dr. He had been having vision issues prior to stroke I would meet him there and to get new dentures his are broken in his mouth no appts yet he was to go to his neurologist in July for a follow up appt. He has not gone yet!!!! He has had Medicaid retro active for months and Medicare B for a month now! Still nothing.. I call the Nurses sta. They never pick up . I did not put him here to die.on a visit two weeks ago a physical therapist was in his room returning his roommate , she said " too bad Mr. Hall( my Brother) isn't in physical therapy anymore" I said WHY? SHE OH I guess I shouldn't have said any thing. I had just gotten his Medicare B straightened out with SS. HE JUST IS TO GO BACK NEXT WEEK I was told by our Niece. Friends visiting said he seems over medicated. I called three times today and asked if a nurse could give me a list of his meds. The first one said she would call me back or have the next nurse on call me. No call . I called again I got a nurse she said she was too busy. I asked her to call me back she said she doubted it they were too busy. It would take five mins. I thought they had to notify family of all medicine changes? The staff are not professional and extremely rude. 01/12/2024 No answer!!!! No return calls as requested!
