My aunt moved in March 2023. I can highly recommend them. The facility is very nice, the staff are friendly, capable & loving. The entire atmosphere is pleasant & upbeat. She had been housebound for 3 years & moving to Morningview enriched the final year of her life. I honestly cannot think of anything or anybody at the facility that didn’t earn & deserve a 5 star rating!!!

I moved my mother in to Morningview at Irving Park in February, 2018 and our experience so far has been excellent. She was previously in Five Star facilities in Savannah, GA where my brother and his wife kept an eye on her for the past 5 years. My wife and I felt that it was "our turn" and we have relished the opportunity to spend time with her daily ever since. In the process, we have discovered what an amazing job that Mary Cole and her team (LaQueta, Kathy, et al) do in running a senior care home that feels like home. The events they organize to incorporate family members (St. Patrick's Day with Irish food and dancers, Memorial day and 4th of July cook outs, petting zoo visits) as well as the high level of professionalism and morale that the caregivers exhibit is fantastic. My mother's care requirements are at the upper end of the care spectrum and yet the staff never complains or shows resistance to caring for her promptly. The food is good quality and the menu changes frequently, and the courtyard where my mother can enjoy the sunshine and birds in the trees makes for quality visits together outside of her room environment. Kudos to Mary and the entire Morningview staff for a job well done.
We moved my step dad in the Memory Care unit and I feel very confident in their sincere care for their residents. I have seen the dedication of the staff to the residents. I am very attentive and so far, I see good work and talking to the staff, they seem to enjoy their jobs. Of course, this is not an easy job for anyone but, their dedication is what I look for to ensure my step dad and others are well taken care of. I am a strong advocate for the disabled and elderly. Laura and Christen has been very helpful and supportive in this emotional transition for him and us. If something is not right, I will be back to correct this rating.
This facility is terrible. A family member has been there for a couple of years. She doesn't get bathed 3 times a week like she is supposed to and her health, mental and physical, has declined significantly since being there. When her spouse asks for information, he gets the runaround. He couldn't even get a statement of 2022 payments to file for taxes. The head nurse is rude and condescending. I would NOT have my mother here, and if I had a choice, I would move my dear friend.
I wanted to express my appreciation to Cameron Moore who is our Maintenance Director here at Morningview. He has enlisted a number one team with Anita, Clarence and Donald working hard every day for every resident to address our needs. Thank you Cameron for all you do and thanks to your team for always being there for us.
