Between the general stress of a diagnosis like Alzheimer’s or Dementia and all that comes from it this can be an incredibly stressful time for all involved. Luckily I was able to find a facility that not only met my needs but exceeded them. The staff is kind and caring. If you didn’t know any better you would think everyone is part of the same family. Even better, they make a commitment to help any way they can, whether that is emotional support, helping navigate medical questions and concerns, or anything in between. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else with my family and loved ones and I don’t think anyone else can.
Just a quick recommendation for Morningside House of Sarasota. The staff onsite from the front office to all clinical, environmental, and food service were just amazing to my father. The onsite Fox therapy group not only helped with PT, OT, and ST, but they would stop by just to say hello and engage my father. I couldn’t have asked for a better combined group and place for my father. Everyone knew him and would give me updates, or some funny story that had happened. Truly felt the care and compassion from the entire staff, every time I was onsite. Highly recommend.
A dear friend is a resident at Morningside House. I have seen facilities and communities in my lifetime, and I must say that this community is, by far, one of the warmest and most delightful group of people. Each time I have gone for visit the staff (and residents as well) are warm and welcoming and so good to my friend. Can tell it’s not “just a show”. I can r see the real connections that she has with them. The staff is attentive and on the ball. If and when the time comes that, my husband and I are good candidates. Morningside would be first choice for sure. Here’s to the ones that take care of our senior adults! These are exceptional people.
I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional team at Morningside House. With multiple client success stories under their belt, it is clear that Chris, Courtney, and Lindsay work tirelessly to ensure that residents and their families receive the best quality of care. Dealing with any form of cognitive impairment is challenging, not only for the individual but also for their loved ones and caregivers. The Morningside team consistently goes above and beyond, thinking outside the box to meet the unique needs of each individual. Their dedication and commitment to providing personalized care shine through in every interaction. I have full trust in the Morningside team and confidently refer families in need of additional support in a structured memory care environment to them. The level of care and attention to detail they provide is truly commendable.
