I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Morningside House of Leesburg several times now, and I have to say it stands out from every other retirement home I’ve seen or been to. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, “homey” atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. The decor is tasteful and inviting, creating a cozy, comfortable environment that feels more like a family member’s home than some facility. It’s also incredibly clean and well-kept, which adds to the sense of comfort and care you can feel throughout the space. Beyond that, what I think truly sets Morningside House of Leesburg apart is the staff. Every team member I’ve encountered in my visits has been kind, genuine, and passionate about what they do. It’s clear they truly care about the residents and enjoy their work, which is something you don’t often see. Their warmth, dedication, and fun personalities create a sense of community that’s both heartwarming and reassuring. If you’re looking for a place where residents are treated like family, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff doesn’t just smile because they have to, Morningside House is the place for you or your loved ones. If they start taking reservations for the younger crowd, I might have to sign up early!

I visited Morningside House of Leesburg yesterday. When I entered, I was greeted by the receptionist who was professional and friendly. The facility was clean and welcoming, and the staff answered my questions. I really appreciated that the staff are actual employees rather than coming from a staffing agency. It makes a difference in the level of care and consistency. I also loved how much effort they put into engaging residents with each other and with various activities—it really creates a warm and welcoming environment.
I can't recommend Morningside House of Leesburg enough to my community friends and partners. I recently brought my Junior Writer Team to spend some time volunteering at the facility, and we were all blown away by what a welcoming and special place it is for seniors to live. The sense of community there is incredible—a tight-knit, loving atmosphere where the staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel like family. If you're looking for assisted living for your parent or loved one, I highly encourage you to take the time for a tour at Morningside House of Leesburg. It's truly a place where care, comfort, and compassion come together.
I work with families who are looking for a good fit for independent living, assisted living, or memory care. I have had nothing but positive interactions with Marybeth Forys and Kristen Killian at Morningside House of Leesburg. The whole team there has taken great care of one of my clients who chose to live there, and the front-facing part of the business is always professional and bends over backwards to accommodate people's requests. I strongly recommend this community.
Morningside House came highly recommended by my sister-in-law, whose grandpa lived here for 13 years until he passed away at 103 years young. Mom has been here for 15 months and is thriving in the community! She’s made many friends, enjoys the many activities and has her own personal space she shares with her tonkinese cat, Sammi. The staff is professional, caring and are NOT contract employees; they are long-term direct employees and bring security and comfort to the residents. I love this community for all it provides to mom, but mostly for what it provides me from 1300 miles away: peace of mind that she’s safe, healthy and happy.
