I cannot say enough good things about this senior living facility. From the moment we walked in for our tour a few weeks ago, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The tour was incredibly informative and we got lots of great info about the services, the community activities, and the tailored care each resident receives. We were able to see from the tour that the staff genuinely care about the well-being of their residents. Since moving in, my mom has shared how much she loves the delicious meals and engaging activities. It's also a relief to know that the staff is attentive and supportive, helping my mom maintain her independence while providing assistance when needed. This facility has truly been a blessing for our family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be cared for with respect, compassion, and professionalism.

I thank God for Morningside in Exton! I love the team. They take extrememly good care of my Aunt and all the men and women living there. Each resident receives individual care and help with day activities. Morningside celebrates each holiday very festively.Morningside keeps a great cook! Music is brought in each Friday for resident enjoyment. There are many activities from Monday-Friday for resident creativity. In the summers, there are a few porches for residents to enjoy the warmth and gentle breezes. Plenty of windows allow sunlight in during the cold winter months. We are very satisfied with our experience at Morning, Exton! Signed, D. Johnson
We had my father stay with Morningside after doing a lot of searching on nearby short term/respite care options. The intake team (sorry I forget your names!) did a great job with all the tours and questions when we came to scope the place out and get the paperwork completed. And we were impressed by the cheerfulness/cleanliness of the facility despite the ongoing rennovation work - something that can often be hard to find when touring these types of places. It seemed a pleasant environment both in the individual rooms and in the common areas. And the care staff, including Aja and Dana, were fantastic once my father was in their care. The staff were always friendly and smiling when we visited too. The team there was great to work with and very compassionate once it was determined that the short stay was turning into a longer/hospice type care scenario also. And i know my dad liked the team there to whenever they came to check in on him or help with tasks.
This is a story with a happy ending thanks to the Morningside House at Exton. My cousin and I were desperate when we abruptly left a popular West Chester Assisted Living facility on a Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in November 2024. Our original plans for end-of-life care of our 93-year-old family patriarch had completely fallen apart, as we learned of the extra costs that would be added to his care, and we suddenly had no place to take him. We sat in our car and made a quick decision to call Morningside House in Exton, which had been recommended to us. Corey, their sales director answered the phone and assured us that she would wait for us to arrive. From the moment we entered the facility, we felt a sense of calm. Corey called in Aja, head nurse, and the two of them worked in tandem to find a way that our Don would be admitted to Morningside under the care of Hospice to live out his remaining days in a kind and caring environment. They bent over backward to efficiently process the paperwork and help coordinate AceraCare Hospice, working closely with their Social Worker, who was so assuring to us. Don’s condition was deteriorating more rapidly than we had realized. Aja and Corey recognized that his situation was urgent. With everyone on board, Don was able to move into Morningside two days later, and he remained in Morningside for seven wonderful days. His daughter and her family flew in from England, and we were able to share a beautiful and intimate time together until he peacefully passed away. We are so grateful for that family time and the support we received from the Morningside staff and Hospice caretakers. We cannot recommend enough Morningside House at Exton. Our dad came here when his condition was progressing and he needed relatively complex care. The care he’s gotten since then has been extraordinary. To a person, we’ve seen a staff that cares deeply for people and their well being and it shows in every detail of how our dad has been treated. Cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10
