We want to thank everyone in memory care, especially Stephanie and Latoya, and all of the staff that took care of my sister Connie Sue during her time here. We also want to thank everyone from the front office, Melody, Chris, and the rest of the ladies for everything that they have done while taking care of everything related to my sister's care, from paperwork to other related matters. Everyone was caring, kind, and professional. They were there when we needed them and we appreciate their attention to my sister.

My husband had a very unexpected stroke at only 58 years old. Although he is a tricky case being so young in a facility like this, they take wonderful care of him! He seems very happy and looked after there. I have not ever had any issues with the staff or indeed the other residents. They are very kind (and patient!) and also take part in helping to cheer and look after my husband as if he was family. I am so thankful that there is a place like this to help out in a difficult time. They provide lovely activities and social events for residents that are integral to promoting mental health and morale. Im happy with them in what is undoubtedly a tough responsibility.
My Mother was here. It was terrible. She had a fractured knee cap and they made her walk and do exercises. She had a bedsore the size of a 50 cent piece on her tailbone that was almost to the bone. She had several bladder infection due to having to hold here bladder. She pushed to button several times for help and she had to wait for help. We found several of her medical pills laying around on the floor. They told us they were under staffed. Then don’t load the place with precious patients that can’t be cared for. They did have some good worker and then had some that was seen sleeping on the job when patients lights were going off. My mom’s health went downhill in there. So we got her home to my sisters house where she passed about one month later. I’d never ever put a loved one here agin.
My husband was a patient there for 3 years in the Memory Unit. I cannot express how thankful for Mapleshire. They were his and my family for years and NEVER did I encounter anything wrong with the facility. My visits from Charleston were unannounced and NEVER did I have an issue with his being taken care of . He was always clean, his area was spotless and the staff always right on target. I would and will always recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of the best thing in West Virginia for their loved ones care.
This is the only place I will ever send my Mom, she has been there 4 times. They are like family to me and my family. They treat my Mom with the utmost kindness. The staff is very knowledgeable and devoted in caring for their people. Their is not a big turnover in staff, the nurses and management put out a happy environment for their patients. I highly recommend Mapleshire to everyone for personal care and assistance. I am thankful, their is such a nice place to help out with our Loved ones. Thanks Mapleshire.
