My aunt stayed at Mont Belvieu Rehabilitation & Healthcare, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff was genuinely caring and made her feel right at home. She really enjoyed her time there, and it was a relief to see her so well taken care of. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place for their loved ones.

Great facility! The staff is so friendly and very helpful! Definitely one of the cleanest facilities I’ve seen in a while.! If you are thinking of bringing a family member here run don’t walk!
I cant say enough good things about this place. They were so kind to my Grandfather during his stay and he progressed so well he was able to come home even before expected. He will return if the time comes again.
Five stars! The staff is kind, the care is personal, and the facility feels like home. Highly recommend Mont Belvieu Rehab for anyone needing recovery support.
This facility caused our mom to suffer both physically and mentally. The physical pain was heartbreaking, but her mental anguish from neglect, from begging for help and being ignored for hours, had detrimental and permanent consequences… Some of our experiences while at this facility: ***Mom was living with Alzheimer’s and confused, but was often left alone in the restroom, scared, in pain, and forgotten. When they would finally hear her calls for help and get her back to bed, she would be deeply depressed and in pain. ***It was almost always impossible to get someone to answer the phone after hours or on the weekends, which was frustrating and at times infuriating if there was an urgent need. ***The call lights are a joke. It takes them forever to answer- if they actually do answer. There were many times the lights were ignored altogether. Most times I would have to take care of mom myself because I didn’t want her to have to wait such a long time to be changed. In all of the time that I spent there, I noticed two reasons why the call lights were often neglected, (which means the residents were often neglected.) 1- They were ALWAYS shorthanded, many times having only one aide to cover two halls. 2- There was an issue of laziness with some of the nurses. They never wanted to leave the desk to do anything, so if the aide on their hall was not available to do something, it didn’t get done. ***She had to be hospitalized for several days following a full night of CONSTANTLY crying hysterically while begging for help from anyone who would listen… no one did. She was already severely chafed, and because no one would help her, she had to lay in a soaked and soiled brief all night long in pain on her birthday. (Nights like this contributed to her severe depression.) The state investigated this incident, and along with video footage, interviews and other evidence, the complaint was substantiated. During the investigation, they also found that several other residents had been neglected as well. ***Footage from her camera documenting the last evening and morning she was there is heart wrenching! She struggled the entire night without help as her blood pressure drastically dropped. She was obviously unconscious when they wheeled her back into her room from breakfast and put her in bed, where she stayed until I arrived and found her. I couldn’t get her to wake up so immediately had them call 911, which they should have done hours earlier! They said her vitals were normal, which is why they didn’t call 911 (even though she was unconscious.) HER VITALS WERE NOT NORMAL! Her blood pressure was EXTREMELY low, which is why the ambulance RUSHED her to the ER in critical condition. The wrist BP monitor the nurse had been using was inaccurate, which I had told them weeks before when I compared it against the BP monitor that I had received from my doctor’s office. Although it’s a beautiful place, I strongly caution against choosing it for your loved one. However, if you do, MAKE SURE you have a camera and monitor it CLOSELY, especially during the evening and nighttime hours.
