At first I was thinking worse case scenarios being flirty and needing a nursing home assignment for physical therapy. This place is actually really nice. The staff are nice, the food better then than the hospital. It’s quiet unlike the hospital. Very clean, quiet, professional, and extremely friendly staff from the cleaners to the medical staff. An excellent place to go have physical therapy and speech therapy. Tho the youngest person here even the permanent residence we’re helpful when helping me understand type two diabetes! I hope I don’t got to go back, but if I did, I would have zero problems with coming back. I feel as if I am a lot smarter coming here vs going home after this last trip to the ER for going into DKN and having seizures and type two diabetes . If y out find yourself in the similar situation and therapy is an option even tho it’s kinda far away from my home in Columbus it well worth it and I highly recommend you that you talk to your clinic or hospital once you have your paperwork ready to process out Yes they take care source!

This place is a joke, they bring in new upper management like D.O.N an Administrative people only to cause long time employees to leave. Then when questioned about why people are quiting they get told the reason is the Administrative people by the remaining staff ,only to then lean on staff on their days off an finding anything an everything to fire them for. I sure do hope one day the management company running this place into the ground, figures out the problem is the Administrative people the put in place. Because the residents of this home deserve to have people there that care for them, not the type that are there now. That all they can about is filling a bed an getting paid for it.
My Dad is in the assisted living building and enjoys his studio apartment. The staff is very caring to him. The couple issues we had were immediately taken care of by the new manager Chuck H. Monarch is lucky to have him!
This facility in my opinion does not value safety of their patients. My grandma has been at Monarch for a couple of months now and she has consistently received her medications late which has resulted in her becoming extremely agitated. She has had two confirmed falls where staff has walked in on her on the floor and two suspected falls. One of the suspected falls she had a gash on her elbow and blood all over her hands and bed when we came to visit and when we got the nurse she said “I don’t think she fell” and didn’t even help us clean her up. She has also gotten outside because they don’t lock the side door that was right by her room. We had to beg for them to get a bed alarm and her room moved away from the door and they finally did after her hospice nurse called and also begged them to do these things. The nurses have still not been putting the bed alarm on because they don’t want to go in every time she gets up and her medications have continued to be late. We have tried to discuss our concerns with multiple staff members and none take our concerns about her safety seriously and claim that she can walk, even though she has fallen multiple times. If you have any other choices do not bring your family members here.
Severely understaffed which resulted in poor patient care & monitoring. Not notifying me that my mom was much worse & should be in the hospital instead I got there to find her condition deteriorating quickly. I was asked if I wanted her to be taken to the hospital....really? Supposed to be a skilled nursing center & a doctor should been called & that decision should have been made & I then notified of what was going on. I had my mom taken to the hospital but she could not be saved. There is more that happened during the 3 months my mom was there & I advise not letting a loved one to be admitted at any costs.
