We are 3 sisters. Two of us visited our sister who has been at Brightview for only 10 days. We were very impressed by the beauty of the building & the neighborhood. . Her apartment was spacious & nicely decorated with her favorite things from her old apartment. The staff was kind, responsive & available for anything she needed. The meals were very good & plentiful & provide a structure for her day plus there were many planned activities throughout the day & in the evening & ample opportunities to meet people & to socialize. Our sister has memory problems as do many of the residents we met. We’re hoping for a positive adjustment. This is a wonderful place.
My husband was a resident of Brightview Woodmont’s memory care unit, Wellspring Village for almost two years. After he died unexpectedly, I received a refund for the remainder of the month for which I had prepaid. In reviewing the refund later, I noticed a discrepancy and contacted Brightview. The Finance Director I spoke with could not explain it and would look into it and get back to me. In spite of several emails requesting a payment or an explanation, I have heard nothing. While $210 is not a large sum, to me it represents a callousness and disrespect, or maybe sloppy bookkeeping, that Brightview can’t bother to correct. Regarding the Owner's response: As I said above, I have made several attempts to contact Brightview's management and have never received an answer. If the Owner is interested in following up on my concern, he would contact Brightview Woodmont and ask them to address my request. I received a check for $210 today.
My Aunt has lived in Brightview Woodmont since October 2019. The facility is in impeccable condition and very well designed to be both functional and attractive. It has a “home” feeling to it. The food is also excellent. But as much as these things have been appreciated, the main attribute that defines Brightview Woodmont is the wonderful staff. 2020 has been a difficult year in this country and around the world. Brightview has been very diligent in ensuring the safety and health of its residents and staff. Every action possible to avoid an outbreak has been taken and the results speak for themselves. The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure the mental health and happiness of residents by engaging them in activities, arranging creative and safe family visits, and showing personal caring and concern for the residents. I could not be more impressed by the professionalism and, as important, the kindness of the staff. I cannot imagine a place where people are better cared for! Thank you Brightview Woodmont!
This is a beautiful community in so many ways. When you first walk in you will be stunned by the overall beauty of the actual space - very clean, modern, and inviting. I was also impressed by the beauty of the community members - the staff clearly cares deeply about everyone that lives there. Everyone I met was kind and friendly, striking the balance of professional and home-like that is so important in a long-term care community. I would recommend to anyone I knew looking for an upscale assisted living or memory care community!
