Very well kept up but 9nly because resident keep up on it. Quiet and clean . Mist residents are friendly. In the assisted living not enough employees for all the responsibilities some are over worked . But over all it is better than a lot of other places in this city for seniors . Recommend do more activities with the assisted living that are away from the facilities.

My mother lived at Mirasol for many years. The buildings were always kept up & clean, the grounds were well taken care of and her neighbors were absolutely amazing. It's a wonderful community. Everyone takes care of one another and they all became family. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my mom to live. Thank you!
Mirasol Community Center is where I live. It is a community made up of three phases of apartments, duplexes, and single family homes. With an event center that is open Monday through Friday, with events to keep us entertained and as busy as we would like. We also have a beauty shop that is open for all your hair needs. Then there is what we call the green homes, which are assisted living and then nursing homes.
We have been living in this community since last August 2014. We have been very impressed with our apartment and our neighbors and all residents that we have met in our first six months of residing here. The staff is wonderful, especially the housing coordinator who was instrumental in getting us into the complex with a two bedroom which was our choice. We find that all staff members who work here are top notch in their chosen field. We are pleased to be here and will remain here for as long as we can.
I am a long-time resident although not one of the first, moving in here in 2006 in the two-story apartment building. The staff has always been most friendly and helpful. A resident has the option of using the options offered, ie., rides to a supermarket, drugstore, and Walmart weekly and trips to places of interest, restaurants being popular. We also have events that happen here in our Event Center such as flu/pneumonia shots and a couple of other healthy things (!) such as the exercise machines, balance classes and Yoga for Seniors, plus a group of hikers. A bookcase full of hardcover books and a library of paperbacks helps to fill quiet time hours. We have birthday parties directly after our monthly meetings I call the State of the Community. This year we acquired a landscaper who had added color to the grounds and even though we all like the green grass, we also like the colorful plants. I want to mention the monthly 'newspaper' Costs seem reasonable to me and I like it here.
