My husband has been in the Memory Care Unit for 3 months now and I am so impressed. Everyone is so kind and compassionate. The residents are well cared for and you can tell they are loved. Housekeeping is excellent!! Rooms are always clean and neat. The menu is wonderful and food is delicious. I am very comfortable having my husband there in the blessed hands of the kind, compassionate and professional staff. Thank you to all!!!

Eight years ago, after Mom suffered from a stroke and we were unable to care for her, we had to make that difficult decision...where she would spend her end of life years. We knew we made the right decision when she adapted so quickly to the Chelsea Community. Scott, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your dedicated staff for taking such good care of Mom.... From her friends, people at the front desk, wait staff, housekeeping, recreation, “the bus driver” to the aides and nursing staff.... we thank you all! Please know how much Mom appreciated each and every one of you and how happy she was to be there.
My father spent the last 3.5 years of his life at The Chelsea in West Milford. He LOVED living there and referred to it as his "home away from home". I highly recommend The Chelsea at WM !!!
This place use to be amazing but unfortunately has really been going down hill lately.The receptionist that’s there during the day with the short black hair is extremely rude and if you ask her anything she acts likes it a huge inconvenience. She definitely shouldn’t be the person that greets you the minute you walk in the door .The women with the blonde hair in billing is also extremely rude and also acts like it’s a big inconvenience to her if I have a billing question .There activities have also been nonexistent. They use to do so many activities with the seniors and the staff that did the activities used to be very bubbly and happy and energetic. I don’t see any of that anymore. A lot of the Senior Residence look like they haven’t showered for weeks and are wearing dirty stained clothing. It’s really a shame a place that was so great has turned into this. I am looking to move my mother out of this place and I don’t recommend it !
My mother lived the care that she received at the Chelsea. They were wonderful to her.
