After a long and arduous search for an assisted living facility for our mother, we are so grateful to learn about Mira Vie Forsgate. We had many boxes to check in our search (Including bringing her beloved cat) I was beginning to think we were never going to find the right place. After the first phone call with Sunny, I finally had hope. We spent the next few weeks visiting Mira Vie, communicating with Sunny and Sean, witnessing interactions between the staff and the community. There was no hesitation we wanted to move forward. Sunny coordinated a beautiful welcome / greeting. There was a ribbon cutting at her door, all her favorite treats, shared with Sean and his staff who all came to see her and introduced themselves. It was the most social I've seen our mother in a very long time. We knew once moved in her transition would be a challenge. Change for a senior experiencing cognitive decline is very difficult but everyone (Sunny, Sean, Nurses, Reception, Housekeeping, Meal Services) have been there to help her (and help us as well) have the best days we can. Leading with empathy, compassion, patience along with their experience, skills, expertise and communication with us, we are profoundly grateful.

The best decision ever .. every person in here is amazing I have never seen my mother so happy . 97 years old and she was difficult , now a pleasure since at Chelsea. The rooms are immaculate. All residents are dressed so nicely. The activities are awesome, the encouragement to participate in activities is awesome . I cannot say enough about this facility. The caretakers and managers are responsive and encouraging. Always pleasant . This place was a god send hands down . Thank you to everyone who has a part in this . It takes an army and I know I couldn’t do it on my own , but you have mastered the care . I sleep very well knowing my mom is in your care ! Thank you so so much! I apologize for not mentioning specific names but there are too many and I don’t want to overlook anyone. My mom is fully aware of her care and she is extremely happy, my mind is at ease and so is hers .
My mom has been living in The Chelsea at Forsgate for the past 4 years. The staff is very caring and supportive of the residents. You can really see that they really do care about the residents. With all of the challenges from COVID, the staff has continued to do everything they can and follow all of the guidelines to ensure the residents are safe and protected. I am very grateful for everything they do.
Amazing staff & facility . The transition for my Mother in law to the facility , from her home was so easy ! Ida , Kennedy , Elisabeth were beyond helpful , and the therapy department stepped rite in and started services quickly upon move in. I would highly recommend this facility for any Assisted Living needs ! It is a warm , caring environment that makes such a hard transition , feel seamless THANK YOU to the entire staff for being so nice !
Mom has been a resident at Chelsea at Forsgate for the past 2 years and we could not have selected a better place. The facility is warm & inviting, the staff and senior management truly care about the residents & keep families informed. Two of my aunts are also residents; the highest compliment we could give is entrusting the care of our loved ones! I would highly recommend you consider this facility to care for your family member.
