I stayed at Miller’s for 3 weeks for physical rehabilitation. I am 76 years old and this was my first experience as a resident in a care facility. The group of people at Millers were the finest GROUP of people I have ever known. Inside that fine group were many truly exceptional people, but the excellence of the group as a whole is what I found so remarkable.
I would highly recommend making Miller's Merry Manor a home for your loved one. My mom was there only 5 short months after having an amputation. The staff were incredibly loving and attentive and did everything they could to keep her comfortable. Many went out of their way to treat her kindly or offer her compassion and extra care. We had good communication with social services, accounting, nurses, therapy and nutrition. The doors were always open and every staff member made themselves available to our needs. My mom knew she was treated well and that put our minds at ease.
I was greeted by Kayla who was friendly and immediately called back to contact Lisa Ewing in admissions. Lisa was my guide and also the person who had helped me for two days coordinating with my crazy schedule and answering questions. She even guided me to Lyndsey Castle in the Business office. Lyndsey listened to my story and helped me understand my financial options as well. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. In a way that was very specific to my situation. So grateful for my visit. Thank you ladies. You helped me immensely.
Do everything you can to ensure your loved one does not stay at this facility. I can confirm firsthand that the negative experiences expressed by other google reviewers is absolutely true of Miller's Merry Manor. I am professional in the senior care industry and have visited hundreds of living facilities around the world for the past 10 years and none have been as grossly negligent or poorly run as Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. The staff and management are hostile and do not put the care of their clients at the heart of what they do. The service provided is grossly negligent and unethical. They push narcotics without asking for pain level readings. Should a care facility be hostile towards the family and pushing to stop care of your loved one? This is an evil place.
