Everyone's been so kind to my mom, a transfer from Crown Point. Very clean building, great food, awesome therapy room, and the communication is perfect. If I have a question why her meds changed the gals always explain things to me her daughter and caregiver. The office ladies were so helpful in getting mom to Crown Point for post op checkup. So many fun things to do and she's being more social every day! Beautifully decorated and I am so relived I made Miller's the choise for my mom to rehab so she can return home to be independent. This is a wonderful place for a loved one who needs a little extra encouragement and care. Everyone here is always friendly even when you know things are stressful. The food is awesome and mom even went to the salon to have her hair done! I can't say enough great things about Miller's I could cry from peace of mind! Blessings to all the hard workers and the adorable residents and clients who are there! -Karin Bodos daughter, Annette

I’m a Director of Social Services for a nursing home in Florida and I know just how hard it can be for people to adjust to rehab life regardless if short-term or long-term. My grandfather spent a good amount of time at Millers in Laporte recently and finally was able to discharge back home today! This is what he had to say, “The nurses are exceptional! They’re efficient, compassionate, and easy work with for your health care. The cna's are equally good, caring, helpful, and pleasant. Rehab was fantastic and they made it fun. I can’t name specific names for these departments, as every person I met was amazing and I don’t want to leave anyone out.” So there you have it! Thank you so much to Millers for the work they did to get my grandpa home to my grandma. Forever grateful
My mother was here in rehab for 3 weeks. She became very ill at the end and they were on top of it right away. Unfortunately my mother passed away. They were the most caring and compassionate people. My mother loved all of her caregivers and they treated her like their own mother. You can't ask for anything more.
My father has been at this facility for about 3 weeks so far. The staff is so caring and everyone I have met seems to genuinely care for us. We chose this facility because it was close to home for my dad. After being here a while, we would not change a thing. I really wish the other reviews would have been more specific. I can’t see how their experiences could have been so bad, and if they were why they would not have explained what they were doing wrong so that I could either say we experiencing the same thing or that things are now different.
Having first hand experience at this facility with a family member being a resident there, I would not take my dog there!! The nurses and Dr Kamron, the Dr for the facility, are VERY unprofessional and negligent. Shame on them!!! Their grade would be an F- I might add all of my family feel the same!!!
