Michigan House has been wonderful to me and my family from the minute we walked through the door. Gabby is professional, organized and very helpful. She guided us through each step of the way. Tracy is also very professional, kind and responsive to questions. I could name each person on staff there and say wonderful things about how they care for my family member and go above and beyond but it would take too long. In general, Michigan House is spotlessly clean and maintained, beautifully decorated, and well run with kind staff. But the most important factor is how my family member is treated. From the kitchen staff trying to stock favorites, to the maintenance guy that hooked up the tv and took time to hang a clock while he was at it, to the nurses paying close attention to health changes, to the people doing laundry taking time and care with clothing, to the workers who kindly monitor the room at night, to the activities director that works at finding ways to make connections everyday. In fact, everyone there takes the time to connect. We are very thankful for finding Michigan House!

Gabby at Michigan House went above and beyond to help me choose the best senior living place for my uncle. During my tours, she thoroughly answered all of my questions and helped me to feel at ease about my decisions. She offered options to fit the needs and financial budget for my uncle. We couldn’t be happier!
There are so many great things to say about MHSL that I wouldn't know where to begin. As a provider who works within their community, I would feel so much comfort having one of my loved one live in their community because I know the expectation for excellent patient care and customer service that MHSL leadership expects of us. That's deserving of 10/5 stars in my eyes!
Michigan House is a beautiful facility. I always felt my mom was well cared for and safe. I really appreciated the variety of events and activities, where all residents were encouraged to join in and participate, regardless of any physical or cognitive challenges. As her health declined they made sure she stayed comfortable through her transition. I definitely recommend Michigan House.
A parent of mine had Alzheimers and spent their last days at Michigan House. I can not say enough good this about the care they received and the kindness the staff showed my family. Thank you for making a hard time a little easier.
