Finding an Assistant Living / Memory Care facility for a loved one is never easy. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and after looking at many places, I found MiCasa. The place is clean and well maintained but more importantly, it’s what’s inside that really matters. MiCasa is a wonderful, caring memory care facility. The owners, Mike and Rachel are dedicated and caring. They are both are fully engaged with the running of the facility. I moved my mom in under some difficult circumstances and Mike and Rachel went out of their way to help. The office personal, Claudia and Cristina are both caring and professional. My mom moved in shortly after MiCasa opened and was a resident for almost 2 1/2 years. I can honestly say, I never worried about the care she was receiving. The entire staff gave my mom, love, care and peace. I will be forever grateful.

My husband has been at La Casa for about nine months. Although I’ve had some challenges, the staff has been super supportive. Recently after changes were made in administrative staff I was a little concerned because I didn’t know what to expect. Billy Gibson, the manager meet with me and assured me that the best interest of the residents was always first. She has been a God sent, Working in every capacity to keep things running smoothly. I have been very pleased with the care my husband is receiving. The communication is great and the cooperative between Billy and the agency staff that come to the facility to provide patient care is excellent.
My father was cared for at MiCasa Senior Living. The place is immaculately clean. The staff are warm, attentive, friendly and empathetic. The doctor is fantastic! The nurses and their assistants are very attentive. Several staff speak Spanish and English. They always put their residents first. The owners are hands on and make sure everything is done correctly. It is amazing place for seniors! I feel fortunate that my dad was able to spend his last couple of years there.
I’m a home health RN and I’ve been coming to Mi Casa Senior Living ALF for several years to see many residents. I truly can say this facility is genuine with their care. The staff is caring and are knowledgeable about how to deal with different situations.The Administrator, Claudia and Care Coordinator, Cristina are amazing. They are attentive and caring. Even when they’re off work, they answer calls to any issues and reply to resident family for whatever their needs. The Founder/Owners, Mike and Rachel are present every day, involved in every aspect of the facility. It’s like a well knit family. I enjoy visiting and caring for the residents there, mainly because of the support and assistance of the staff.
For anyone who is looking for an ALF but will not be local to South Florida, MiCasa is an excellent choice. The staff provides consistently good care. They have a few techniques that are different from what I saw with other comparable ALFs, but these all contribute to a better care environment. I was always able to get in contact with the care staff quickly, and they provided prompt answers to any questions that I had. Selecting a facility can be an overwhelming process, but you can trust Mike, Claudia, and Cristina to provide care and grace for your loved one.
