This is a wonderful community. I feel sorry for people who wait too long before they move here. There are so many opportunities to stay active and engaged. The staff is dedicated professionals.
Joined two couples for lunch that I and my late wife have known for 50 plus years. Had an excellent leisurely but very delicious lunch. Then went back to one of their units to visit for a couple of hours. Delightful time.
My brother had to go to the dentist at 3 pm. I was taking him. They had a printed note on his rollator telling him about his appointment at 3. They also had all the necessary papers about his medications and allergies ready for the dentist. They gave them to me when I arrived. Everyone was helpful. It turned out to be a very good day.
Michael in the dining hall is awesome! I heard concerns from residents that the 7 pm Movie is shown only in the PAC and no longer on TVs inside residences, much to the sharing of residents who don't like going out after dinner in the evening. The request is to offer the movie both in the PAC for those who enjoy socializing and in the residences for those who like to be "in" for the evening
