From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my heartfelt Thank You to the incredible staff of Menorah Rehab/Nursing Center in Brooklyn, especially to Dr. Yatcha and the following heroes as nurses and aides that have been providing outstanding care for my dad in 2 East Rehab facility: Larissa Kopylova, Lilian Penev, Jilian Byron, Maryann Basilio, Bijoux Lingbertch, Josephine Smith, Beverly Wellington, Stanislawa Szabo Words cannot fully express the deep gratitude my family and I feel for the extraordinary care and compassion they show to my dad every single day. They are not just knowledgeable experienced professionals — they are true angels in scrubs! Their gentle kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication bring so much comfort to our hearts. It is clear in every small gesture — from the way they greet my dad with a smile, to the way they listen, encourage, and care for him as if he were their own family. Knowing he is in such good hands brings our family great peace, especially during times when we cannot be there ourselves. Thank you for treating my dad with dignity, for holding his hand when he needs it most, and for being such a vital part of his daily life. You are making a difference — not just in his life, but in ours. With all my endless gratitude, Anna (Anatoliy Raykis' daughter)

I George was a patient at the Menorah Rehabilitation Center from January 25th to April 11th, 2025. I left that facility AMA due to their racist bS. The Menorah Rehab Center is very deceiving. The facility is well maintained and in a prime location. That's the draw. But they do not provide the level of services as required by the state or as advertised. When I asked why I wasn't receiving adequate PT, the Director of PT Daniel said, "we don't do that here." Don't do what? You don't provide the services you advertised? I fell in the shower due to negligence. The Doctor, Nurses and CNAs all gave adifferent account trying to cover it up. They over medicated me. I got bedsores due to their negligence. I am a max assis patient with zero mobility. I choose that facility because of thier listed services. I did not received the necessary PT as needed for about half of my stay. The facility's assigned doctor Dr. Go refused to sign the necessary paperwork for me to receive a motorized wheel chair. In a family meeting, the PT director (Daniel) said the patient had plateaued. Meaning there is nothing the PT department can do to improve the patient's health. Instead of discharging me, they were seeking to extend my stay to the maximum time allotted by the insurance company. The Social worker (Alexander) was coaching me to transfer to their long term care. That practice is known as "milking the insurance company." They are very crafty in their cunning and subtle tactics in defrauding your insurance. They advertised PT Rehab, but it is never listed on the bill presented to your insurance company. I complained to my insurance company. But nothing was done. How are they allowed to getaway with stuff like this?
Has to be one of the worst places my grandmother has ever stayed. The care was zero to none. I am a rehab physician from FL with training in NY and Philadelphia and have never experienced such utter neglect of patients. Can you imagine being left to sit in your own feces or urine for several hours at a time? Well, if you don't want to imagine then come to this place. Medications for Pain were missed on multiple occasions leaving her in agony. The one bright spot in this whole place was the therapy but is only composed of about an hour to 1.5 hours per day if you are lucky. Case management runs the show here which is traditionally biased towards extending patient stay as the facility will get paid out more based on days of insurance used. As compared to an acute rehab facility, a skilled nursing facility such as this will get paid more if the stay is longer. Hence, if you try to beg and plead the case that your loved one is ready to go home, the case manager will lie and tell you they are working on expediting discharge when this is actually not the case. My grandmother was in there for over a month for a simple hip fracture. She was walking with a walker by week 2 and essentially needed only level of Supervision. All in all, stay away. If I can rate this zero stars, I would.
My concern regarding an incident involving Supervisor Miss Jones. During a recent situation where my mother fell and required immediate attention, Miss Jones FAILED to respond appropriately. I attempted to get her attention for approximately 40 minutes, but she was unresponsive and appeared unwilling to engage in the matter. When I finally did speak with her, she showed a lack of urgency and did not offer any meaningful assistance or communication. This was extremely distressing, especially considering the seriousness of the situation. I believe this behavior falls short of the professional standards expected of someone in a supervisory role, especially when it involves potential health or safety concerns. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed
My brother has been in residence here for over 2 years now and he has been treated with care, kindness and respect. The kindness and compassion of the staff on 3 South have made this difficult time in his life more bearable!
